The official _______ Sucks, Fire ________ Thread! Week 5 even though the team won!

I see a lot of people are slamming McKinnie but I think the team should keep him. He has value as a backup for this season. Also, he's a big dude, it's likely he plays better in cooler weather.

He only has value if he plays well. A scrub sitting on the bench has no value.

And seriously? You call it making excuses when we talk about how the OL and TE are to blame for Flacco's struggles, but you want to blame McKinnie's play on the freaking weather?? Unbelievable.

One word...McKinnie! Send him to the bench or another team's bench!
If they trade him it would likely be to regain some draft picks they gave up for the new LT. But then who can the Ravens trust as a backup?

McKinnie, Close the thread

This.   And we don't even have to say he needs to be off the field because it's going to happen anyway.

The 2 rushing TDs still doesnt cover up the stink of the OL and the running game. Can't covert on 3rd and short ice the game at the end. Rice still averaging less than 3 yards a carry (2.74 yards). The running game showed signs but still needs work. Caldwell needs to keep running it regardless if it puts Ravens in 3rd and long positions. Running it that much keeps the defense honest.

We don't need more rushing. Since when does anyone want 3rd and long positions? We need to get the ball more often to Torrey, who is our best playmaker right now and we need to get Rice more involved in the passing game. Both rushing TDs came off drives, that had close to nothing to do with the running game. It's a totally misleading statistic.

We still have to keep trying to run pretty often or we can't use the play action, which is a key component in our offense.

Sure, but on 1st down we almost always ran. You need to change things up atleast once in a while to keep defenses guessing.

You mean like that long 1st down pass we completed off the play action?

That was one 1st down pass of how many? Two, maybe? I understand, that our receivers are not good enough to sustain prolonged passing drives. It would be nice to see more 1st down passes. That's all.

Lets all not forget that the DOLPHINS are LEGIT.No shame in a close game. At least not this week.

True, Dolphins are a team on the rise with solid talent and coaching looking to play more consistent football --several of their dropped passes could have changed the outcome today. Definitely glad to have this win behind us.

1) Bryant McKinnie
- Not a Party Bus, you need a Mega Bus out of this city

2) Gino Gradkowski
- You're on the suck list. How you can allow a man to take your lunch money and your girl all on the same trip is absurd

That's all I got for today kiddies. We need TD's to pad my man The Mighty Joe Flacco's TD stats!

Honestly can someone tell me why the Ravens almost never "win pretty"? Like Peyton Manning wins in October and November, just a thorough butt kicking that we as fans can just sit back and enjoy. Glad we got the win and all, but man that would be really nice to see haha

Joe has no Oline and A receiver. Peyton's offense is loaded with talent front to back.

We are the Ravens they are the Broncos. Last time I checked Joe Flacco bounced him out of the playoffs in rout to a perfect playoff performance and won a ring.

I'm still in shock that Dickson caught some passes. Hope this is a continuing trend.

McKinnie needs another party bus. Straight out of town.

Rice still isn't Rice.

Man our QB is one tough dude.

I like our chances next week very much. GB hasn't looked very good this season and we tend to play up to our opponents every bit as much as we play down to them.

McKinnie and Jamie Dukes. McKinnie because he almost cost us the game with his bad play(s). And Dukes because he blamed the pick six on Flacco. SMH.

Put Joe Flacco on the Broncos and I bet he wins superbowls and who cares if Peyton Manning wins in October and November. He doesn't win in JANUARY AND FEBRUARY.

our O-line is dyslexic.

They CANT make holes for Rice and Pierce but they sure do leave plenty of gaps for the defense to pressure Flacco.

I don't think this post will fit with the thread title, but I'll put it here anyway.

Neither Rice nor Pierce look good at all. I'm not too worried about Pierce at this point. He really looks like he's trying to put something together but it's just not working out. I do have a general concern for Ray Rice, though. Even before his injury, he hasn't looked the same. His cuts look slow. He doesn't look as strong. He goes down with ease. And most importantly, he's not making good decisions. Is he on the decline, or is it just me?

when was the last time Ray rice had a ray rice game? You could also ask the same about the o-line. Nonetheless, it's been a while.
