had a feeling we'd resign bajema. Must mean jacoby looks good and they like what they saw from thompson

It was the move that had to be made.  With Thompson and Jones both healthy, Brown playing well, and Doss doing punt returns, there was no spot for him.

Wide receiver Brandon Stokely has been cut. Billy Bajema has been resigned. Maybe it was because of the groin injury Stokely had? Anyways, this shows that the Ravens are very confident in the young guys we have at wide receiver.

Cannot wait to see Jones back out there. That little bit we saw in Denver looked VERY promising. Fingers crossed.

Took me by surprise. I'm guessing his groin injury may have hindered his ability to play & the Ravens are confident that our young guys have the passing game under control. Maybe we will see Jacoby Jones back in action tomorrow.

I wonder why they didnt just cut stokley to begin with? His injury must be more serious than first thought.

They were probably just waiting on final confirmation that Jones and/or Thompson could play on Sunday.  They didn't know for sure until today on Thompson because he had his final concussion test.

That makes sense.

Brandon stokley is expected to be re-signed by ravens as soon as monday so likely a temporary roster move

Probably just buying time, hoping to trade McKinnie.  Unlikely Stokley was going to play this week, so it makes sense to release him.  I thought he'd be gone for good, though.

Only thing that makes sense.  I can't see us carrying 10 lineman beyond this week.  I'm sure it's pretty hard to turn around and trade someone in such a short amount of time.
