Week 5 - Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins

McKinnie is a short term fix. He can focus for a month when motivated, BUT DONT ask him to show discipline and heart for more than that. Amazing he got paid so much cash for a guy who really is a back up.

He sort of gave up on that one play that caused an INT. Thank the lord we signed Monroe and just before the JAX LT got hurt too. Talk about timing.

shutting down that screen was immense, read the play, got off a block and had the speed to get to miller

He was also on-top-of Mike Wallace before Wallace dropped the pass, on that last drive. I believe it was the second play of that drive, if I remember correctly.

The Dolphins are 3-1??

Anddd. Doesn't mean that I believe they should compete with the Ravens, I believe our team to be much better than the Dolphins and the bills also for that matter.

The browns are 3-2 doesn't mean they good. Coming into these games the Packers were 1-2 do I believe they are bottom feeders nope.

Decent effort by Baltimore's 10-man offense in the second half.  Nice to see Ray bounce to the outside as we don't have the required line for "power" running through the middle.  Hopefully Caldwell will take some notes and have Ray/Bernard shift to elusive running.  I wouldn't expect a "Shady" performance but those guys are pretty capable.  Can't wait for Monroe to get up to speed so we can have 11 players on offense again.  I'm still confident Baltimore will return to 4 quarters of offense after the bye week.  GO RAVENS.

Yeah, absolutely.  We need to replace McKinnie now.  Right now.  I hope Monroe is ready and playing next week for the Packers.  That INT was McKinnie's fault more so than any other player on the field.  A lot more so, in fact.  Coaching didn't help anybody with the play call there, but as for players and execution, McKinnie is the reason the play was such a failure.  He is lazy and needs to take a seat.  It's so lucky for us that we got Monroe when we did.  Wow.

Did McKinnie really tip that pass that led to an INT?

Dion Jordan (iirc) beat McKinnie easily and got a hand on it.

The Packers can be stopped, they've only put up 16 on the Lions so far. We need to get healthy and get our line figured out. Monroe is getting a trial by fire on our team next week, since I'm guessing he'll be up against Clay Matthews.

Lions was a divisional game, you know those division rivals can be tricky due to familiarity. We need our Offense to step up early.

Yeah, I think you're right. I think it was Jordan. He just started balling in the 4th quarter. I don't know if he played the entire game but he was ridiculously explosive in the 4th quarter.

Happy we got out with a W.. Once Monroe get's settled in and we have Torrey/Marlon/Deonte all on the field together the offense will be night and day from these last couple weeks. At least we ran the ball effectively for a while today, were making some solid steps forward on offense from where we started.

Joe may end up getting hurt this year with this offensive line .

What happened to Gino ? I noticed he left in the 1st quarter .
For the better, overall

no he didn't, KO left for Shipley, Gino played all game and played well

He gave up 2 receptions.  That TD was ugly though.

Yeah, but it's not like he was getting beat the entire game. He gave up points, and that's on him for sure but regardless, he didn't play bad. Overall, he had a good game.

You can tell he's getting physical on guys.  The guys he's covering are starting to wear.  Hartline I think was their leading receiver.

What did you think of Tanehill?  I think he's going to play for a long time in this league.

I think he means we beat Cleveland so we have tiebreaker on them.

Tie breakers are irrelevant until the regular season is over.

Tannehill looked better than I even expected him to look. I didn't know how he would look, and had some reservations, but he looked pretty good out there. I think he might take them to a Super Bowl one day if they can continue to improve. They need to give him an OL.

Man by the end of this season Joe will have around 30 picks...all because of this O-Line

On the bright side, he'll still have fewer picks than Eli lol.

That pass rush got there in a hurry.  That dumerville game winning sack though.

We need to extend suggs.

Yes. We need to extend Suggs & Torrey Smith before next  offseason. I hope we can extend Pitta, Daryl Smith & Arthur Jones.

My priorities would be Suggs, Monroe and Smith.  I know we haven't seen Monroe.  It's just very difficult to find an LT.

Maybe because it was 3rd and 22? Do you understand football?

I understand football enough to know that a smart play would be not to drop back into the end zone. I understand risk reward
