Yeah he was a ravens fan too , fellow flock member made alot of film  fans gamers and readers sad to hear about this but  his last few works are still not finished I wonder if Ubi Soft will continue with them

I was saddened by this too. I only read a military non fiction by him and I listened to Rainbow Six on CD (loved it), but I also played a lot of the games with his name on them. RIP, sir.

I've only read The Hunt For Red October, his work wasn't really my cup of tea, but it was a good book and he was obviously a highly influential author.

He was one of my all time favorite authors and a local institution. He will be sorely missed.

 

The first book of his I ever read was Without Remorse, which is set in Baltimore.

It tells the story of how John Clark ended up with the CIA.

Read at least a dozen of his books since then.

He donated a huge amount of money to local charities, especially for childhood illnesses. He did pretty well for a guy who started out as an insurance salesman.

When they blew up M&T bank stadium in Sum of all Fears I was afraid to go to game because I did not want to orphan my kids, in the book the blew up Mile High stadium. One of my favorite authors .
