LT Bryant McKinnie

Well, I don't know. If McKinnie said that, he's a jerk and shouldn't be on the team. I've never liked him much since his comments on the radio show, and this most certainly wouldn't endear him to me either. Regardless, I guess the truth will come out soon enough. Hopefully, he does get traded and soon. I'd like him gone, personally.

If McKinnie hadn't have publicly tweeted this Dolphins News twitter, I wouldn't have believed it.  However, things came together quickly after that exchange, so it looks to be 100% legit.

I want him gone as well, even before this news.  This just stirred the pot even more.

That Dolphins News twitter that got the message from McKinnie.  See above for the rundown of events.

That feed hasn't actually posted the picture from what I've seen

Still... these are not the sources I would be trusting. Not exactly "professional". What does Bryant McKinnie gain by trending on twitter? Are the Dolphins that weak-minded that their FO would bend to some minor grass-roots tweeting? Anyways, Bryant can't be that dumb. But, then again...

Well, I'm sure everyone here wants him gone, regardless of the authenticity of this Twitter drama.

But really, what value does a 34 year old OT who is struggling mightily have? He's the kind of guy you sign off the streets and hope he gives you depth...not a guy you would sacrifice a draft pick for hoping he can turn things around at such an advanced age and make a difference.
Heck, Boldin was only worth a 6th, and he's two years younger to boot

Whoever runs that feed must have deleted that picture.  I know it's not "professional" but McKinnie's public tweet to them is what puts the nail in the coffin for him.  Basically asking if they can direct message, then a picture of said direct message comes out almost immediately.

I want McKinnie to get the boot but I'm just skeptical to the source and situation is all.

Who knows....this would be VERY easy to fake...seems these guys have much more to gain than McKinnie would. But McKinnie is dumb as bricks, so who knows...

Yeah that's understandable.  You can never be 100% certain unless you're the actual source.  I just think the order of events lends to almost certainly being true.

Plus, what good would a random fan have out of making McKinnie look bad anyways?  McKinnie's found multiple ways to do that himself lol.

Ohhhhhh....it would be a BIG Mistake releasing McKinnie with Eugene Monroe's play for the Raven's sight unseen.  A Big Mistake.

Harbs stated that McKinnie is taking the news of Monroe's signing like quote: "A True Professional".

There's a video circulating of the Raven's Run Blocking in the Buffalo Game.  It's really comical as all get out.

Osemele dives for a cut block and comes up with air.

Yanda and Oher kind of work their way right to block nothingness.

Gradkowski gets tossed to the turf like a rag doll

and McKinnie gets a little piece of someone and may have the best block on that play.

Ray Rice cuts back into an onslaught for negative yardage.

If anyone has the link to that stellar play it would be great to post it here again with all the "Faithful" wanting to find complete blame for Big Mac, the best Tackle we got!!

lol

I can't believe anyone is buying that "tweet".  Read the guys twitter feed, he's a Dolphins fan with zero juice.  Why would a pro athelete go to him about getting out of Bmore and into Miami?  Yes, because a hashtag would sway Jeff Ireland.  We all been on the internet long enough to recognize a ploy to get clicks.

Our best tackle ja!

Thats the best argument you got???.....lol

Just a great play managing to get a hand in there....McKinnie was clearly riding him out.

Find the video of the entire oline playing terrible vs Buffalo and post it...It's a clearer indictment as to who is at fault.

Seems like the party bus incident was the final nail in his coffin.

Yep, wanted to get ahead of the curve should McKinnie rent a hot air balloon as his soirées via land and water have ended so well.....

Seriously, Pout McKinnie is just sore that he suxed it up so BAD that it looks publicly like he's bein' called out and replaced directly--which as we all know he has.  IMHO somebody needs to convince him that at his age (wink, wink) he's better in relief than in the daily grind and that it's a long season and we'll need his veteran contributions later when an injury occurs. Plus, should he be needed he won't look as subpar in December against many D-lineman who've been worn down. That's the ONLY silver lining for leaving his bloated party carcass on this team, because it is more than likely that like last year we are gonna need someone to come off the bench and hold the line!

I'd love to see Geno have a game winning drive here!

Those tweets look completely fake... but either way, B-Mac is obviously on his way out of the starting LT role, it's just a matter of time.

Is there a reason people think it's fake? Serious question here. I've already stated that I believe it, but just wondering if I missed something. Is it jus the fact that the source isn't legitimate, or something else?

Maybe we can trade Mckinnie AND a 7th round pick to another team for $100 and some old 8-track tapes from the 70's. As long as we can dump his salary sometimes addition by subtraction is best.
