LT Bryant McKinnie

Good point. I can see that. They're competitive and could use a LT. I'm not sure how Brown is doing. I haven't watched any Saints games.

I know Brees has been sacked a lot.  They talked about it on the monday night game.  I don't think McKinnie in New Orleans is a good idea though...

If there are teams willing to trade for Levi Brown of all people then I don't see why there shouldn't be some sort of scrapheap market for McKinnie.

Let's hope they're interested. If we can move McKinnie for a 6th I'll be impressed.

I will be impressed if the FO can get McKinnie off of the roster. No team is going to pony up a pick for BM.

If it were any team, I'd bet on the Cardinals with the loss of Levi Brown. However, I'm somewhat weary of calling it a loss. Frankly, I'm still puzzled by Pittsburgh's trade for Brown. Both he and Mike Adams have been atrocious pass protectors thus far.

Kind of sad when Levi Brown is considered an improvement over your previous LT.

lol Definitely. Mike Adams has been so poor, he's repeatedly fooled me into looking for the screen play before the camera pans back to a harassed and/or downed Ben Roethlisberger.

Too bad we wouldn't trade within our division. The Steelers are just desperate enough to give us something for McKinnie.

I don't know, for as bad as McKinnie has been, maybe, just maybe, the Ravens would realize it'd be a downgrade for the Steelers and pull the trigger....

Well, good luck with that. Nobody wanted BigMac in the offseason just after he played well in the SB, but now after 4 bad games and the bus incident, people will come knocking at the door? Doubt. It.

Afraid we are stuck with the guy. He might be okay as a backup along the o-line, but he would be a last resort. The only way I see us just cutting him is if we would REALLY need a roster spot for someone else.

Not much, but maybe we could swap for a serviceable Center. Gino is getting pushed around like a rag doll.

we can get a fifth or sixth if we trade him to the cardinals and we could trade gino as well for a low pick then sign kevin matthews the free agent center

We won't trade Gino just after starting him these first 4 games and drafting him last year.  Also, there is a reason that Matthews is a free agent.

It's easier just to ignore him.  I've given up trying to get through to him.  He wants a completely different 53 man roster every year.  He also wants 53 draft picks a year.

We should trade KO, Gino, Yanda, and Oher for a 4th, 7th, 2nd, and 5th round pick respectively and then hold a contest among the posters here as to who will start on the O-line.

Or we could sign every teams entire practice squad to form a new team that will likely win a Super Bowl this year.

Is that you, Joe Banner?

I doubt Joe would even trade his mighty wings for him....  This is pure speculation of course.

I'd be glad if the only thing we got for McKinnie was a new order of Mighty Wings for Joe to snack on.

The biggest thing would be moving his salary, even if the player in return is cut or a 7th round pick.

If we were to trade him before Sunday, we'd save ~$764K.  That's, of course, pending someone would even give something up for him.

Easy now. Don't "bully" the guy. That is deeply frowned upon in this establishment.
