According to multiple sources the steelers are recieving Levi Brown for some low draft picks lets try to trade Bryant McKinnie to the cardinals for either a 5th or a 6th and 7th if they give Levi Brown to the steelers

Let's do it! Make it happen, Ozzie! Maybe we can trade McKinnie for Housler? He has significantly underperformed this year.

Oh...wait...we don't have cap space? Not right now, anyway? Oh, man! Nuts.

Seriously, if we could trade McKinnie that would be great. I am doubtful we can but if so, great work, Ozzie.

Really, another Thread?  -_-  Who would back up Monroe if BAL traded McKinnie?  Jah Reid?!  :bitenails:

Well, Wagner is my guess since he's the current back-up LT.

Youngsters Reid and Wagner backing up the starters?  I think BAL's O-line needs to retain some veteran presence.  They don't want to end up completely led by unexperienced players, like PIT is.  Gradkowski's incompetence is proof in point.

That's how it is right now and it's how it was last year. Monroe has typically been healthy. Granted, freak accidents occur but you can't have veterans at every position for depth.

Looks like he can now rent a Party Bench.

You can't be mad at him for getting a bus. He wouldn't have to drive drunk while celebrating his b day. You can't expect the stripper to really try and pop bottles off the side of your friends head, allegedly.

That's just another day at the office for him.  Who's to say he wasn't trying to do in his "friend"? :p

its unfair to blame all OL struggles on one player and that is mckinnie, i dont think he's is the sole problem , Gino and KO are struggling badly too,

On the flip side, he was ranked like 72nd out of 76 tackles by PFFs system if I remember correctly. So that's pretty awful

Am I the only one who this flacco needs to improve on everything. The ravens should have won 3 superbowls by now. Flacco sucks, and needs to run the ball more. No matter how bad flacco stinks it up, we never pull his a** out. T-Rod is ready. Give him a chance.

are there any teams with a super pass heavy offense that need a tackle? i'd imagine we could get SOMETHING for bigmac.

I would love flipping him for a TE with a small contract. I know he now provides depth but at this point Wagner might be better depth.

It's unlikely any team, much less one with a "super pass-heavy" would be willing to trade for a 34-year-old LT with McKinnie's issues.

I'm thinking Arizona sends us drafts picks they got from Pittsburgh in the Brown trade. Or maybe the Giants since they are desperate for offensive line. If anything we at least get 5th round pick back from a McKinnie trade.

theres going to be transition from b.mac to monroe if it happens.

from OTAs, TCs, to what is now past quarter of regular season...monroe will need transition and time.

b.mac wont be traded until we know the  LT position is secured

Too bad we wouldn't trade within our division. The Steelers are just desperate enough to give us something for McKinnie.

I'd imagine the only team willing to trade for McKinnie would be the Cardinals. I really can't imagine another team out there looking to trade for him. If we did trade him, I'd be pleasantly surprised if we got more than a 7th round pick. Perhaps we swap players and cut the player for whom we swapped. I don't know. That would seem more realistic to me.

Maybe the Saints?

Good point. I can see that. They're competitive and could use a LT. I'm not sure how Brown is doing. I haven't watched any Saints games.
