After this, would it be crazy to see us trade for a reliable center? I could see it happening if Gino Gradkowski doesn't improve

LMAO... I was in before the edit...

Multiple as in two 7th rounders right? :D

Third day would be 4th -7th round correct?

If so, again, we outright ROBBED the Jaguars.

Yeah you're right on that. To be fair multiple could mean almost all of them though

Don't bet on it. If, and I mean if, Gino Gradkowski doesn't improve by the midway point of the season, the Ravens won't look outside of their team to improve at the center position; Baltimore would most likely give Ryan Jensen a shot, pending if he is healthy.

Um wait guys.. he wears 75 and we know that number won't ever be worn by anyone other than JO. What number will he have?

The Baltimore Ravens are the best sports organization in the USA.  I'm so proud to be a fan of this great organization.  Another gift for the fans from the Ravens brass...

Eugene Monroe, 26 years old !

Jacksonville Jaguars

Former 1st round pick, Round 1, pick 8

6'5, 306 lbs

Monroe was widely believed to be one of the top two offensive tackles available in the Draft (alongside Jason Smith).[3][4] Particularly praised for his pass blocking ability, Monroe drew comparisons to Walter Jones.[5] He was selected eighth overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars, a pick that was declared a "steal" by Sports Illustrated's Tony Pauline.[6] Monroe was the third offensive lineman from Virginia selected in the top 15 of an NFL draft in four years, following D'Brickashaw Ferguson and Branden Albert

Someone else has to be cut. Ravens only have about one and half million in cap space.

Let's cut Flacco.

Lol jk. I smell a restructure or a pay cut somewhere.

Trade 4 Monroe sort of explains quick hook 4 Thompson. His release saved $367K & put Ravens $1.580M under Cap. Will need more moves 4 Monroe

I hope the same doesn't happen to Asa Jackson when he comes back. A very decent CB we can't afford to lose.

Squeeler fans must be feeling some pain right now.   "Why couldn't we figure this one out?"

Because that cap situation is 20 times worse than ours

In related news, Bryant McKinnie named Raven's starting TE...

Too bad Marcedes Lewis isn't healthy or he would've been a nice "throw-in" to this already great deal.

The Wizard of Oz strikes again! Next, I wanna hear Furstenburg has been signed to the active roster!

Ozzie has said in the past he would restructure contracts but only if they had an opportunity to bring in a big time talent. I think a stud LT qualifies. I don't see us cutting anyone.

We can also extend Monroe, lowering his cap number.  Hopefully something is already worked out.

I'm thinking we will say goodbye to Jah Reid

He's a FA after this year, correct?

Hmm... I'm assuming it would be another offensive lineman (since Monroe needs a spot on the 53-man roster). Cutting Bryant McKinnie would save the Ravens $500 K, while cutting Jah Reid would save them roughly $414 K.

This trade apparently voided his last year of the contract which was 2014 which means we will have to give him a new contract.

jah reid & ed dickson?

Ed is still a good blocker. TE still tend to do that sometimes.

Jah Reid isn't a candidate to get cut either. He provides depth at the guard position.
