Ravens acquire LT Eugene Monroe from Jaguars

Can someone tell me if this has any impact on whether we change our blocking scheme. Or is this a trade to help us in zone blocking?

I think Jacksonville is primarily man blocking, but I could be wrong. Either scheme, this guy will be an improvement.

I'm really hoping it's nothing over a 4th. Can't wait to find out the deets.

PROTECT this Lambo Eugene!

cool, I gotta admit that I like this move but i'm not getting too excited at all until this offense shows me something worth cheering for on a consistent basis.  at least "look and play" like an NFL team and not the bad news bears.  I'm waiting and watching fellas!  :th_thimpatient:  :258801:

This trade will ensure that happens. More time for Joe to throw equals more offense.

I literally just ran around my house screaming

JOE GOT HELP. JOE GOT HELP

lol

Well, not immediate help. It will take time until he is ready to line up, but it does take the pressure of Ozzie to find a LT in the draft next year.

I guarantee we gave them our first round pick. Considering our need on the o-line, plus Monroe is much better than taking a risk on a rookie left tackle in the first round. If we didn't give up our first, then I'll be even more happier.

Wow! That's all I've got to say...

I think Jah Reid is the most obvious choice to get cut. The Ravens might keep Bryant McKinnie for depth and as a goal-line blocker; Baltimore has the option to cut him, in the off-season, if they want to save $3 million.

IK, but a franchise LT is a franchise LT.

And we just got a really good one

Could be a 2 and a 3.
