Man I hope this team is like this once the season starts. I hope we win our first game at least against the Red Sox.

Spring Ball is...well spring ball. It gets a whole lot tougher when you aren't facing split squads and the pitchers are bringing their A quality stuff.

Can't wait until we get Manny back.

I've said it boldy and proudly, and I'll say it again. The best defensive 3b in the game. You only see the all time greats make the plays that he makes.

Really stepping out on a limb there huh? Ha

He was without a doubt the best 3B last year... One of the best defenders in all of baseball

Sorry if I am not completely up to date on it but what did he say?

During our playoff run in a game against the Yankees in which he was commentating, he said that Beltre is the greatest 3rd baseman defensively of all time and he'd take him over Brooks.

I love Manny, but his recent comments about being "disappointed" with a $519,000 salary plus a $100,000 bonus are, well, disappointing. He's already cashed a $5.5 million signing bonus check. He needs to be quiet and count his blessings.

He's too young to have learned to keep his mouth in check. He'll get some good advice and not be too honest again.

Dang, that's a really big comparison, I don't know if it was terribly necessary to go to that level describing Beltre and I don't think he is near that level.

I think he was trying to show he had no bias when calling the game. Beltre is a good third baseman but he isn't the best.

Yeah that's probably true but he didn't have to take it that far

Flaherty/Schoop. Whichever one doesn't play 2nd I believe.

Pretty sure it'll be Flaherty. He'll be ok until Manny gets back

Flaherty is the man until Manny get's back. Rip off alert, if not "put me in coach I'm ready to play today!" I'm 55 but list me as "day to day, but aren't we all."  Seriously I hope the O's don't rush him. 6 days out, let's get it on!! Wish I could be there!! Thanks John Fogerty and Keith Olberman. Please don't sue me!!
