Oh, I just read that their public relations executive Monica Barlow lost her fight with cancer at 36. May God bless her family during this difficult time.

Apparently she was loved by all who knew her. Buck was very close to her and broke down trying to talk about it. Yesterday's tweets were heart-breaking.

This old Oriole fan sits in Illinois, sat on 33rd street and knows one thing. Play ball, when we ruled the world, no nations, the Earl got it done! Buck has it, hope Pete knows this too! Let's go O's!! Wild Bill Hagy  lives on in some of us, section 34 lives!!

I love the passion, but it's a travesty that we only have 3 WS wins for as good as we were.

Not a bad outing considering Boston was playing their stars and we fielded our "who's".

Looks like those late inning rallies are going be be our thing again this year. Makes it exciting, but then the games run late and it's hard to sleep afterwards.

Yeah, seems like anytime we've brung in a second tier pitcher they just give up runs.

The O's won in 66,70 & 83 which I do not believe they were favored to win and lost in 69,71&79 in which they were favored....IMO there should be at least four or five championships for this franchise.

Anyone know who started today against the Twins?

Norris and then Gausman. Both with solid outings.

Thanks, our starting pitching are giving us some decent outings against opponents starters. So far, looking good O's!

I was a little surprised by the Johan Santana signing. I understand that he was a past beast with his two Cy Young's but missing two of the last three seasons with not one but two major left shoulder surgeries. I have to go back and look but I thought I read that he was only hitting 80 mph on the radar, but maybe he was just cleared to throw. I guess we will see what he can do in the minors. The contract is written so we can get out with limited money if he does not make it up to the O's roster by a certain point so I guess we do not have that much to lose.

Don't worry, I am sure if he wasn't ready, he would not be able to get through our tough physical lol ;)

LOL, I know because of HIPA we will never find out but I wonder if they really found anything wrong with Balfour or just got cold feet with their deal.
