[News] Game Recap: Bills 23, Ravens 20

I'm definitely in the minority, but I agree with not running in the second half. Our Oline hasn't been able to run block all year (and can barely pass block at this point). Running would have made this game a much bigger loss IMO, and there would have been a lot of 3 and outs. The problem wasn't that we didn't call run plays, it was that we are totally incapable of running the ball, which eliminated the running plays from our playbook. Obviously that has its own issues, but I think it worked out better the way they called it. Undoubtedly though, this lead to a few of the ints that Joe threw.

3/5 int's were Flaccos fault. Joe did not have a good day at all. The running game needs some help. The Defense looked ok but there is a lot to improve on getting ready to face the Dolphins. Marlon and Torrey looked pretty good.

man today really sucked. That's not how a 120 million dollar quarterback plays I understand this is only one game but this is not how a 120 million dollar quarterback plays. I still think they should have franchised him and wait another year. but im not blaming the loss on one person im blaming it on the team. and credit to buffalo they played a fantastic game. but the biggest thing I question today is, 4th and 5 ball on buffalos ten and they kick a field goal.... I don't understand that call. U have 4 minutes to go if u fail in that situation they have 90 yards to go, and we still have 3 timeouts. I just don't get that. One quote we can all look to though is by coach harbs. "We need to get healthy, and we need to get better. If we can do those to things we put ourselves in position to make a run."

Horrible, Im really dissapointed. Cut the Crap Offense!, There's no Offensive playbook, no running game,No passing game, No TE'S, Oh and No O-Line. Great game Deonte Thompson,Torey,Marlon and Doss. Im a Joe fan but Flacco needs to work extra time with Wr's and to trust Thompson and Doss like he does with Clark. Defense played really good.

I know we do not have the same offensive weapons as we did last season, but seriously the play calling needs to get better. If we keep running this vanilla offense all season we are not going to make it very far. Good game for Torrey today though! Only good thing about that awful game.

Bad day, but I do see a lot of weakness with the O-line. I also think EVERYONE seriously underestimates this Buffalo team. Close game, and not well played, but they hopefully use this as a learning experience.

Abssolutely NO excuse for this. Really disappointed in Flacco. On the positive, torrey exploded onto the scene after consistency in the first 3 games

Our O line is so bad Caldwell said screw it, what's the point in running if all we get is two yards. Crazy play calling but I don't blame him.

Pathetic, all the way around.

P.S. That should have been interference on the last pic by Flacco.

Don't care why anyone says. Our #Ravens have no leader on offense & we don't have a "franchise" QB. I pity the defense! Just look at Joe's body language & reaction to events on & off the field & ask yourself "does he really instill any confidence in you as a fan?" I'm not hating on him or anything but i've been waiting 5 plus years now for significant development & haven't seen much.

This o-line is garbage,Torrey,Brown and Thompson is money, the rest of them are trash.Flacco 5 picks...52 million reasons why he can't get it done, his TE's suck,dump.... I can't catch worth a damn Ed Dickson!

This what you get with Flacco. He'll have great games where he'll throw 3 touchdown passes and god awful ones where he'll throw 3 picks in a game.

Simply put....bad OL avg QB play = no success! There were no run lanes and drop pass/INT by Dickson. But, Flacco has to put this team on his back for sustained drives. He has to overcome this team's current weaknesses...put it on his shoulders. He still lacks awareness, accuracy, decision-making...seldom shows willingness to scramble when open field presents itself. 3 or 4 yds makes a difference. Stop throwing short on 3rd and long... HE HAS TO BE A LEADER in performance and presence! Torrey is the offensive leader of this team, no doubt. With that...our tackles are horrible! Ozzie, season's end (if your QB survives) work your magic. $120M QB behind $5 tackles = short season Joe

Flacco definitely missed Brandon Today.. But anyone else with me -> Ravens release Ed Dikcson & sign Matt Furstenburg from PS

We may have done something like that had the squealers and bungles won! We'd be feeling breath!

As it is, we must endure Ed Dickson's playing Beach Volleyball with passes while Harbs & Caldwell get on their knees looking for the "Screen Passes for Dummies" primer!

everyone saying we gave up on the run, ask yourself when was the last time the run showed to be able to take over a game ..do guys realize both of our rb's(who are great talents) average no more than 3 yards a carry. this isnt 03 when we didnt have a qb or receivers, we have both our staff just arent using them correctly

Lucky it's early in the season because we do not look like a playoff team . We hire a run coordinator and have the worst rushing game in the league? Play calling looks like a Cam Cameron offense . Around the Bills 11 ,second and three and we throw an interception. Why not run the ball? terrible call . Why not go for the TD on 4th and 5 with 4 plus minutes left ? You don't make it and there is still time to get the ball back and score. The field goal meant nothing . Good news: Plenty of time and games remaining to get our offense going and get on track .

Furst deserves a shot!! He can't be worse.Clark gets no separation, and is the main reason for the last interception!! Play calling is terrible!! Caldwell and Castillo have made this Ofense soft and slow!!
