[News] Game Recap: Bills 23, Ravens 20

Pretty disappointed in the fanbase honestly. I expected more.

It's the same thing every year brotha; a lot of irrational thinking going on and a lot of pessimistic people in the world and it seems to me they are all Ravens fans :(

The weakest link seems to be the offensive line which returned virtually intact from last season. Our dynamic run attack last year has regressed to second worst in the league in terms of average yards per run. At an average of 2.6 yards per carry we only beat out the mighty Jags which average 2.3 yards per carry. Harbaugh shouldn't hire friends because down the road he has to fire them. Castillo is clearly to blame for the state of the OL.

I had a bad feeling about this game. And maybe it's because the Ravens suck against crap teams. This is a weird team; but I still think they'll get it together.

I'm just confused how any rational person can make blanket judgments about a team or player based on a single game performance?

I know the offense is playing poorly and out of sync, because they've done that for 4 consecutive weeks. I know that Ed Dickson has added almost no value to this team this season, because he hasn't for 4 consecutive weeks. I know that we pretty much can't run the ball at all, because we haven't for 4 consecutive weeks.

What I don't understand is how Flacco became a QB being worthy of being permanently benched after having one bad week. Nobody honestly felt that he was playing poorly coming into this game, so I'm not sure what changed. Just like I'm not sure how people think the run defense is a major issue, when we were averaging 75 yards/game allowed in the first 3 weeks.

As someone who just recently moved into a management role, I'm starting to see the difference between management and regular workers. Some people get it, and some people don't.

Nobody, at least not me is making assumptions off one game. As you pointed out these occurrences have been going on over a 4 game span, when Ray has good games we win when he doesn't well you know the rest. I don't blame Joe at all, if you have to throw the ball every down with no threat of a run you have to force it sometimes to keep the chains moving and the WRs aren't giving him much help either. I'm only worried about is the O-line, for 4 games now they can't run or pass block and if you can't do that you will get absolutely nowhere. With the passing game finding itself Ray has to be able to run the ball, if we can do that this division is very winnable.

Since when we have been road warriors?

I peeked your profile to get some insight! How old are you, as your profile doesn't say? We won our first Super Bowl on the road and made a living winning on the road,... that's since when!

But I saw you've been here since 2012 so I do truly understand!

What happened to Andy Moeller? I thought Juan Castillo was hired on as basically an assistant. Can someone please tell me what happened to Andy?

All I see are excuses and stuff coming from fans. Cmon guys...we lost...to the BILLS? Can we honestly make an excuse for that? For 8 years now even our 3rd string guys could have beaten the bills, but now all of the sudden we feel like babying and making excuses for our team? No excuses. you can be critical and supportive at the same time. If I got to be in that locker room I would simply say "What the heck happened guys? You lost to the bills?" and "Guys we have GOT to do better then this. We are RAVENS. We Win, thats what we do."......see? I can criticize them and let them know i am not happy while still being supportive. This team should be better this year. The defense is better, but the offense is atrocious.

Its a good thing your team paid so much money for an average, "lob it up in the air and hope the right player comes down with it" method of passing Quarterback! PREDICTION: The Ravens won't even make it to the Playoffs and if they do, BOOM: They're beaten in the first round as a Wild Card. Real champs win back to back Superbowls. Period.

The offensive line is horrible and it goes back to the change at 0-line coach. Swapping Birk for Gradkowski could not make that big of a difference. What makes a difference is when you swap out coaches who change the blocking schemes and quite frankly, the schemes are terrible. One after another Bills linemen had straight runs at Flacco. Not only did the scheme suck, but it didn't get corrected all game. McKinnie and Osemele who were talking pro-bowl are looking like a laughing stock, Oher looks worse than he looked at left tackle, Gradkowski jus isn't looking like anything and the scheme makes perrenial pro-bowler Yanda look pedestrian. Every lineman can't be that bad, we proved they werent last year. What changed, the O-line coach and the blocking schemes. Too late to turn back? Perhaps, but anything is better than the garbage that Castillo is producing as a coach. Like Cameron, another Harbaugh friend we will be stuck with regardless of the fact he sucks and was fired from his last three jobs. One job was as a D coordinator. That should tell you how bad he sucked at his job that they moved him to the other side of the ball. No excuses. The O-line sucks this year after looking great last year and we made a coaching change and he changed e blocking schemes. Even a moron can figure that one out.

I would love to know how many come back routes our receivers run?  I've yet to see it, I see them running a lot of posts, heck one of Flacco's Interceptions came from that damn out route he loves to throw, the corner knew it was coming and sat on it and was right there to catch it.  The Bills knew our tendencies and it showed.  They played man coverage all game and our receivers didn't win those battles.

They all need to do better bottom line!!!

They are sacrificing sheep on the Giants page and the squealers, ever defiant, are wondering why Bettis isn't returning their calls!

Thanks for letting me know that you are a creeper. And being a member a forum doesn't make you more or less of a fan. It just means you get to express your feelings without anyone knowing who you are Mr. Dragon...I'm sure if everyone was in a room together a lot of the things that are said wouldn't be said. So stop trying to be a "keyboard gangsta" lol

I know our offense will get better but I am worried about this TE situation. Im not even mad at Clark for his performance. The guys is old. But Dickson disgusts me at this point.Ive been advocating for him since the first season even when he wasn't doing well. I just knew that he would be the "you know what"! He know is consistently playing like "you know what"!

Gino is suspect out there too. Im just not used to seeing our Raven players getting pushed around like this. We are supposed to be the bullies and it is not happening this year on the O line. The O line needs to get their nastiness back!

You just merely piqued my curiosity because you simply didn't know that we made our "Bones" winning on the road in 2000,... that's all, grasshopper!

The offensive line will not, anytime soon, resurrect itself as the second coming of Jesus unless a few front office decisions are met and made, What do Castillo and Spagnolo do to earn a paycheck? How did Shipley fall behind Gradkowsky? Why isn't Furstenburg given a chance? If he drops a pass...I'm already use to that.

The biggest missed chances were the ones we didn't take.

First and 10 at the 11 down by 6, and the only shot in the endzone is a jump ball to the shortest guy on the team.

I was alright with the decision to run on second down until I saw that we were going to kick on 4th down. Why not take two shots in the endzone from 11 yards out instead of one shot from 6 yards out? Or better yet, take 4 shots in the endzone to Marlon Brown, Torrey Smith, or even Tandon Doss.

Why, because our receivers weren't catching and they wanted to make sure we at least put some points on the board and our QB had been throwing to the boys in blue all game as well.

And I completely do not understand why they decided to throw a jump ball to the shortest player on the team when he had 2 defenders around him - the only thing I can come up with is that it was Joe's go to guy and the one he rely's on the most to catch the ball. Any of our 6' + receivers would have been better to throw to than Rice but I honestly don't know why Flacco didn't look at any of them....bad decision and bad throw

We just cannot get it done when the pressure is on. The worst part is that we have the talent it just seems like we are missing the motivation. We need someone to step up a get the team fired up. I miss Ray at times like this.

U know what. i dont want us to have a winning season this year. it so hard to build a good team when u been in the end of the draft picks every year the past 5 years not adding the other years we went to the playoffs before flacco hoped on board. This time was coming and it leaves a bitter taste in the mouths of all ravens fans but i think we need to build some more. we need some good draft picks some high draft picks . picking late does not get it done all the time even with the wizard of oz. sorry. #RavensNation

Stokley being out really hurt us, not having the set of sure hands to move the chains or go to in the red zone killed us putting Doss and Thompson into the fire. Thompson stepped up but idk how Doss is going to be on this team by the end of the year unless its because of insurance. But it took Jacoby getting hurt to realize Brown's potential and Stokley missing the game gave Thompson a chance to shine and show his toughness making that tough catch and withstanding a big helmet to helmet hit. I knew that hurt, i felt so bad for him when that happened. Can't even trust the defender to hit you cleanly...

Deonte Thompson will bounce back and make our team have another edge with his speed, hands, and route running. Pepper in some Torrey Smith and Marlon Brown with a lil Dennis Pitta. Dash of Jacoby Jones, Stokley, n Clark and we have an impressive attack that will give defenses some trouble.
