To start Monroe he would need to have a photogenic memory. It is not only the play calling it is as has been said he has to learn a new language. If we just put him in for run situations then we telegraph to our opponents that we plan to run. Of course if he can learn just one pass blocking play it could be fun to put him in so they would think a run is coming.

Bottom line I would not expect much from Monroe on Sunday.

I can hope for a win and root for our guys but I just can not feel comfortable in saying we are going to win this one. It would be nice if it was one of those "it was not pretty but it was a win" :229031_cheer:

Man, with the Browns now at 3-2, we just gotta win. Having the Browns taking the lead in the division just doesn't sound right. And if the Bengals were to beat the Patriots??? Holy moly, we're hanging out with the Steelers near the bottom! I won't know how to handle that.

You guys think Monroe starts on Sunday?

Nope. He just got to practice yesterday and missed the meeting(where coaches assign which duties they work on each day). Today will be his 1st actual pactice. I think Monroe wont start until few weeks in.

I think they'll try to start him against green bay.  Not saying it'll work out, but I think that'd be the plan.

Yeah GB game would be great. We'll need all the talent against a good team like GB.

I think GB is a good match for us. I'm really not very concerned with them. I think we can handle them.

I'm concerned about most teams right now.  Not to say we WON'T win, it's just that we could lose.  If that makes sense.

And a guy like Rodgers is always concerning.

As happy as I am to see our pass rushers in the top 10 in passing productivity, I am extremely disappointed to see Haloti Ngata's name missing from the Interior DT list!

This is going to be a real test for our offense and Joe Flacco. I hope he is able to perform well this week after last week's performance. Just hearing him speak at his presser, I got a sense that that game has bothered him quite a bit, although he is too proud to let it on.

This week I hope he gains some confidence early by his receivers making some tough catches to bail him out. Once he gets going, I think he will be fine. But, the first quarter will write the story of the game. If we are able to move the ball and score some points on the first couple of drives, I don't think Miami stands a chance. But, if we have a repeat of last week's offensive performance, then God help us.

This is the first game that I don't feel comfortable declaring a Ravens victory and that really sucks!

You know while yours isn't a popular sentiment and doesn't sit well with any of us, I don't think you are off base at all to tell you the truth. It just sucks that I share that sentiment.

ngatamight be one of the most overrated players in the nfl. im not saying he isnt very good. but for a guy as big and athletic as he is the facts remain. he does t get the qb enough or pressure enough to be paid that amount of money.

Obviously in hindsight the contract wasn't great.  But at the time it seemed like the right thing to do.  these things happen.  It'll cost us someone, but we'll have to deal with it.

I agree he is overpaid, but he is still a very good player. He is a dominant run defender and he does provide a pass-rush when given 1v1 match-ups. The thing is he often gets doubled both against the run and when rushing from the interior, but that allows the edge rushers to have better match-ups as well as Jones and Canty along side him inside.

Smith, Thompson and Doss the only active WRs....

Well, we better start running the ball well, because with those receivers gaining 1 or 2 yards rushing won't do.

Baltimore gotta put the foot down on this one.  I know the WR corps is thin but we really got to look for the run game to come alive.  I think our defense will hurry and get Tennehill with that pass rush that won't go away.  I'll be watching the game at home with a good friend who happens to be a dolphins fan.  Feels like the teams credibility is on the line with this game.

We cut Stokely.. now Brown and Jones are inactive?

So now we have Torrey who will be doubled all day.. Thompson coming off a concussion.. and Butterfingers Doss.. Good lord.

Maybe we see Rice in the slot more today

With those guys out I believe Rice is gonna be used a lot in the passing game. I'd like to see at least 25 touches.

i used to live in SFLA in the late 90's. followed the dolphins as my second team. they have the worst fans. there's no one in the stadium and they are 3-1.

Great win. Defense played lights out. Thought Doom would get the 3 sacks but it happened to be Suggs. Still get half credit though ;)

If we didn't need any more reason to show McKinnie the bench or the door, we just got it.  He was brutal today.

Don't know where to post this but people should go check the videos section and look at Harbs press conference.

Joe was messing with the lights in the middle of it and I thought it was hilarious how they all responded.
