On the bright side, we aren't 0-4 and are leading the division at 2-2. We have the tiebreaker over Cleveland.

Now pending how long that lasts, well I'm thinking we'll rebound but I don't know.

Plus Cleveland plays Buffalo next week and Cincy hosts NE. If we're lucky, we might still lead (tie) the division heading into the match up against Green Bay.

at Denver - 62 throws, Loss

vs. Cleveland - 33 throws, Win

vs. Houston - 24 throws, Win

at Buffalo - 50 throws, Loss

We tend to freeze up and throw non stop on the road...Rice and Pierce had a total of 9 carries for 24 yards. Yeah I know we had to be conservative with Rice after the injury but still. O-line has to improve and Flacco has some room for improvement. Yeah earlier I questioned him as a QB, sure it may have been from anger. I know he's our QB but he still needs to get a lot better. Live up to that contract. Defense looked solid in the 2nd half...run D is usually better than that so I havent lost hope in them. Tough loss to swallow today I have confidence against Miami but we have areas we have to smack in practice.

LOL no, just stop. The only thing that those 2 games have in common is that we fell drastically behind and were forced to throw the ball in order to have any prayer of catching up. If we actually would come out throwing the ball, since our run game is beyond pathetic, instead of waiting untl it's do or die time, it might work.

The thing about Shipley and Gino is that I'm not sure it's a good idea to switch yet, and this is coming from someone who's not pleased with how Gino has played. The OL is a unit and it takes time to get chemistry. It seems like Gino is having stupid mental errors and these are trickling throughout the entire offense. Now he is making mistakes but it's hard for me to discern whether it's due to inexperience or just sucking. There's a balance and I'm glad I'm not deciding on it.

I don't know.........At this point there's no chemistry to upset. We have to try something.

Flacco, Ray Rice & O-line.  Looking @ those 3.   They show up we win.   They don't we sink to 2-3.

if the oline shows up I think both flacco and rice will, it's no coincidence joe had that playoff run when the offensive line actually played well

Miami's looked pretty good so far this year, and they'll be at home. I don't think I'll assume a win before the game's played anymore. I thought we'd win today, so I will just sit back and root for the Ravens to pull out a nice sized victory at South Beach next weekend! :)

Those thoughts ended for me during the nationally televised Jags game a couple years back. Never again will I talk smack or expect an easy win. Never.

I have seen nothing on the road that makes me think we can win against the Dolphins.

On paper, yeah, sure. But man, we're not clicking at all. The defense is keeping us in games.

Is Pitta on crutches? Wheel chair? I'd say activate him, he's sure to make more grabs that Dickson.

Pretty sure he's walking around but I hope you're joking , lol.

Mike Wallace will fumble a couple of times. I think the run game has to bounce back this week, to neutralize the speed Maimi pass rush.  This happens and the Ravens bounce back to get the 1st road win this year

It will be fun to watch Ellerbe against our O.

Interesting how many are saying a Miami win is impossible. Buffalo game a bit of an ugly loss but did everyone forget how we just emberrassed a good texans team? Road wins are very dicey for any nfl team. But this ravens team is plenty good to win road games. Stop overreacting.

To be fair, the Texans win came at the hands of our Special Teams and Defense, not our offense. If you think they can do it again, then sure, we can pull out a win. This Ravens team always looks awful on the road compared to at home. Our offense has looked astronomically bad compared to what we've come to expect.

Miami 23 Ravens 17......Green Bay 35 Ravens 20........Pitt 23 Ravens 22

I agree with the Miami game... Too early to know how GB comes out of that bye week. But if Pitt can't protect Big Ben it'll be a LONG day for that offense

Personally I think there is to much pride in that locker room (from key players) for us not to bounce back against Miami and steal one down there!

Things can only go up after today for our offense... and at days end we are still tied for 1st in the division!

If Donte is cleared from concussion to play next week and Brown is ok from the thigh injury, I believe we can smoke Miami with air strike....

I'm not calling a win on any more road games from now on. i would be scared going on the road to jacksonville today. we just implode when we're away from the bank. Our last quality road win to me was at st louis - 2 YEARS AGO. So yeah, you can put a loss down for Miami. they're 2x as good as buffalo so good luck Ravens!

Nothing you said here was wrong, so if you're hoping for some argument... sorry!  :190048:
