I'm not calling a win on any more road games from now on. i would be scared going on the road to jacksonville today. we just implode when we're away from the bank. Our last quality road win to me was at st louis - 2 YEARS AGO. So yeah, you can put a loss down for Miami. they're 2x as good as buffalo so good luck Ravens!

At least we'll have an extra day unlike Miami.  This team usually rebounds after bad losses.  Hopefully that holds true.

I'm backing us to bounce back and get the win. We don't often drop two straight (last year being the exception with the terrible run of injuries) and I think Harbs will show us all why.

Let's not get crazy here. Jaguars are by far the bottom of the barrell. They don't even have a good defense anymore, let alone offense. 0-16 is looking likely for them. :P I'd only be scared if we had prime time, cause we tend not to do well then..

Anyway, this one will be tough! We need it bad though.

I'm already over this loss to the bills. Dolphins will be a challenge. Joe can't throw it 50 times though if we want to win.

Note that this was against the team that ended up with the second worst record in the NFL that year (actually, tied for worst if my memory is correct).  So even that is not much to brag about, unfortunately.

But I would say that road wins against Denver and New England in the playoffs both count as quality road wins.

Miami has a better defense and a better passing game. Oh, boy.

Yeah, I really wish we could something else, but you know our running game, right? That run blocking is sooooo bad.

Yay!! Yet another loss for us, coming next week! Gah, this team is looking pretty awful... at least it's not the Steelers though.

I actually like this match up better than the Bills. I never liked the match up against the Bills. They have a lot of talent on that defense as they showed us today.

I'm excited to see our pass rush against a rather average Miami OL. I think we have a very good chance of winning this game. I think we'll win this one.

at Denver - 62 throws, Loss

vs. Cleveland - 33 throws, Win

vs. Houston - 24 throws, Win

at Buffalo - 50 throws, Loss

We tend to freeze up and throw non stop on the road...Rice and Pierce had a total of 9 carries for 24 yards. Yeah I know we had to be conservative with Rice after the injury but still. O-line has to improve and Flacco has some room for improvement. Yeah earlier I questioned him as a QB, sure it may have been from anger. I know he's our QB but he still needs to get a lot better. Live up to that contract. Defense looked solid in the 2nd half...run D is usually better than that so I havent lost hope in them. Tough loss to swallow today I have confidence against Miami but we have areas we have to smack in practice.

With the worst run offense I've ever witnessed since the Ravens were formed, I do not have high hopes against an improved Dolphins team. I'm guessing we will be underdogs .

I don't think the amount of throws has much to do with the losses. It's just that the throws are a result of losing. We try to catch up and the running game is so bad, that we might as well start throwing it. I mean, do you really think, that even a healthy Ray Rice could've gotten us back in Buffalo and Denver? With that Oline play?

Absolutely not. Im not sure what is with the o-line. Could it be Gino? The only difference is no Birk. Maybe consider AQ Shipley?

the Ravens do NOTHING to make us think otherwise!

Theres a lot of things this team "usually" used to do. This team usually never loses 2 in a row. This team usually doesn't give up 200 yards rushing. This team usually has a great run game. This team usually wins after an extra day of preparation. This team usually has a winning record. Its funny how many things have been destroyed as far as Ravens tendencies this season. I highly doubt this team has what it takes to win next week. Miami is looking like a really solid team, and we've looked pretty awful all season. Joe hasn't had a good game since last season. Our Tight Ends are useless. About the only shining spot for this team has been our defense solidifying over the last few games.

I'm predicting we continue our offensive meltdown, and Miami runs all over us.

Shipley wasn't that much better in preseason, but why not? It can't possibly get worse.

Shipley is bigger if nothing else. Gino is getting dominated.

The thing about Shipley and Gino is that I'm not sure it's a good idea to switch yet, and this is coming from someone who's not pleased with how Gino has played. The OL is a unit and it takes time to get chemistry. It seems like Gino is having stupid mental errors and these are trickling throughout the entire offense. Now he is making mistakes but it's hard for me to discern whether it's due to inexperience or just sucking. There's a balance and I'm glad I'm not deciding on it.

Losing the physical game has nothing to do with mental mistakes though. From I'm seeing it doesn't look like he has the strength to really battle it in the trenches.

You defeatists out there saying we have no chance are just terrible people.

Its not being defeatist. Its being realistic. Show me where our offense is going to come from to beat the Dolphins. We get a 70 yard pass with a personal foul tacked on and we can't convert at the red zone.

The thing is games don't translate to the next unless there's a pattern. So far, the only pattern I see as of this moment is an OL that doesn't get the push it needs in the run game nor blocks those it needs to block in the pass. That's our biggest issue team wide. You fix that and everything from the receivers and defense play better. The DL has played well for the most part.

It's inconsistent. He's pancaked JJ Watt. He's not always losing the physical game. He is a few times but you can't discard the good for the bad. He hasn't gotten a lot of push for sure but what about the guys he let go unblocked? How about not calling blocks and letting guys go unblocked? How about standing around and watching Joe get sacked?

His strength is a concern but I'm far more concerned regarding his mental mistakes because that affects the entire line.

People wonder why the Ravens get negative attention in the media...welp.

Miami is a tough test. Easily a loss if we don't get the run game going. They look good.

true!  and once again, the Ravens are on the road!  well, they have shown me absolutely nothing to be confident in with this offense.  nothing!  and, I wouldn't put another road loss past the Ravens next week based upon how they have played for 4 weeks straight now!  smh!
