If you could take one player from the Bills

111 posts in this topic

Well if there is one thing that we have in common with the Bills is that we both HATE the Patriots , also helps that we beat them once in the regular season game then beat them again in the AFC Championship game last season, which was probably a HUGE favor for them so they wouldn't have to hear about the Pats nonstop. :)

As somebody has already said , I wouldn't mind seeing the Bills become contenders in the near future, sure would be better then hearing about the Patriots or almost worse, the Jets...

At least they appreciate Flacco. Loved this one:

Does it have to be a player? If not, I'll choose Steve Bisciotti.

I will see your Bisciotti and raise you an Ozzie Newsome.

If its player only, give me Webb. 27 years old and is a lockdown CB.

I'm shocked they (by they, I mean pretty much any non-Ravens fan) even knows who Bisciotti is. Usually, owners of football teams are only well known due to incompetence (Al Davis, Dan Snyder, Jerry Jones, etc)

Byrd. But then again, Digs has been playing very well. But then again, Byrd is one of the best FS in the game right now. With that said, I'd take Stevie Johnson.

This one is easy for me. Mario Williams.

He was the best DE in the NFL in Houston. I'd move him back to his natural position of DE.

Can you imagine a pass rush consisting of Suggs, Mario Willams and Dumervil???

I would love to see Buffalo pull out of their funk. They have great fans who deserve better than what they are getting.

Plus I just cant stand wimps, like the Patriots. Someone needs to bully them around every year. Too bad they cant move to the AFCN where the big boys play

If this player was FULLY healthy and with our TE position looking the way it is... I'd go chandler.
When he's near 100% he has top 10 TE talent. If pitta were healthy then I'd take kiko Alonso.. That young ILB that they have he's a STUD! If he can stay healthy he will become a household name

Yeah, I'm surprised how much people covet Yanda, and Webb especially - Yanda is a guard, and Webb is injured a lot, I wouldn't expect those two to be so well known everywhere.

I wouldn't say that Webb is injured a lot.. He suffered one major injury, besides that he plays with little nicks here and there like any NFL player does.

May have accidentally missed someone mentioning him but...

No love for Stephen Gilmore... He'd be my pick in a heartbeat... 23 years old already has shown great potential and would give us Webb Gilmore and jimmy

Talk about a young group

Robert Woods. He's not putting up the numbers yet because of their QB but he looks like a future Pro Bowler. Very smart, runs great routes, catches everything, knows how to beat corners, doesn't make any mistakes, has great vision and makes yards after contact, tough, breaks tackles. Reminds me kind of like Boldin his first few years.

Kyle Williams is good, so is Mario and Dareus of course, but we're stacked there so there's no need for them. Woods would help us out the most.

How about Scott Chandler? That would definitely be an upgrade!!!!

That's a tough one though. I love Stevie Johnson as well.

Agreed. Chandler is really the only player they have that would represent a significant upgrade. I wouldn't swap any other starter on our team for a starter on theirs. Im okay sticking with Torrey as our top WR.

While its nice that other fans respect our players its also kind of sad when fans are jealous of so many positions, including ownership (and cheerleaders.) Means the Ravens are doing a really good job.

Easy - Mario Williams, it's not even a contest.

When you already have two of the best pass rushers in the game then it makes sense to look elsewhere no?

You can never have too many good pass rushers. It would cause absolute chaos to have those three. Look at Seattle - relentless rotation of ends who can get to the QB.

But it is. As good as Mario is, it's not like Suggs and company are struggling to generate pressure. The issues have clearly been on offense. Spiller, Johnson or one of Buffalo's better offensive lineman would all arguably be better additions to the team overall.

I don't know much about their line, except that they gave up 8 sacks last week.  How's their center?

Understand your reasoning but I believe some of those sack numbers from Seattle can be attributed to their overall defensive talent from DL to secondary

Obviously you couldn't go wrong with Mario just was offering a different view

Thanks but no thanks. I love who we have right now. However, if Stevie Johnson wanted out, then maybe......... heck, give me Stevie Johnson!

Well, my thinking is this --

Mario would go back to DE, where he belongs. Mario + Suggs + Dumervil would probably be the best pass rush in the history of the NFL, seriously. With a defense like that, Flacco and Rice would be all the offense we'd need
