If you could take one player from the Bills

Saw this on the bills forum...Good question

http://boards.buffalobills.com/showthread.php?470644-If-you-could-take-1-player-from-the-Ravens-who-would-it-be-and-why

Very great read. If you get a chance to read it. It really makes you appreciate how good we have it as a fan and the Ravens organization.

My question is the same except different team, if you could take one player from the Bills, who would you take and why?

Personally, I would take Steve Johnson, still relatively young. 27 yr olds and a deep threat to take one to the house. With the lack of depth at WR. That's a no brainier for me.

Tough question.

Since I'm picky as hell.... I'll take one from the defense and another from the offense

Offense: Robert Woods

Mini Anquan Boldin + speed.
He was ruined at USC by Lame Kitten. Eh I mean Lane Kiffen. And for the first time in my life, I felt sorry for a USC Trojan.
He's no superstar, but he will be a very good player in the NFL. Possession WR who can run.

Defense: Jarius Byrd

Best FS in the NFL.

The bills suck in run defense. So he has to do run support.

The bills suck in pass coverage. So he has to do that too.

No question about it.

byrd or johnson. kiko alonso looks like a future bro bowler

Bro bowler? Last I checked he had too many attitude problems to be considered a "bro" of mine.

At least they appreciate Flacco. Loved this one:

Does it have to be a player? If not, I'll choose Steve Bisciotti.

I will see your Bisciotti and raise you an Ozzie Newsome.

If its player only, give me Webb. 27 years old and is a lockdown CB.

IDK man I think #29 in Seattle is a bit better.

Offense: I think the flashy picks would be Stevie Johnson or Woods, but I'm going to go Eric Wood their Center. I think he would give us a big upgrade under center on the o-line over Gino or Shipley.

Defense: Byrd no doubt about it. The Safety Tandem between him and Elam would be a quarterback's worst nightmare.

Yeah I notice that too. They would gladly take Flacco's contact, considering his age and what he has accomplish already. I really love the fact, they were asking if they could take a non player (GM or Owner). Makes you thank your lucky stars, how good we have it as fans.

I like Glenn, but if it can down to Glenn or Byrd.

I'll take the all pro FS

Our safeties have done fine, but the line's struggled. I gotta take the tackle.

I get that the line has sucked and all, and Glenn is a very good player.

But put Webb next to an all pro FS. And yes, we had Reed the past two years, but he hasn't been the same.

Put him next to the best FS in the NFL. Move Elam to his more natural SS position

QBs become more hesitant to throw. Coverage becomes better

QBs have to wait a bit longer, and as a result the pass rush gets better.(all in which you prob know :P)

I understand where you're coming from, but a ball hawk would be nice.

Wow a lot of props given to us on the Bills forum. A lot of Ravens fans should read that thread and rethink their outlook on our team and stop taking our talent and team for granted.

I would take Steve Johnson.

Couldnt say it better. Sometimes, we Ravens fans need to take a step back and be grateful at what we have. We should be very fortunate to be in the position to contend year end, year out. Many organizations would kill to be where the Ravens are.

Wow! Media may not give us any respect, but fans from other teams certainly do. Joe, Suggs, Ngata, Yanda, Webb, Oher, all these guys are coveted by other fans. Blows my mind.

Yeah, I'm surprised how much people covet Yanda, and Webb especially - Yanda is a guard, and Webb is injured a lot, I wouldn't expect those two to be so well known everywhere.
