Week 4 - Baltimore Ravens at Buffalo Bills

this offense will completely different yet again next year, hopefully with better results. Face the facts, we are a bad team that got lucky to get by Cleveland.

Manuel was wasting time that whole series. Hes a 6'5'' QB who's not just gonna go down by barely touching him .Even if that was a penalty a game shouldnt be ended like that. Its not like Suggs fought him or anything. Bull

Offensive line played the worst I've ever seen any ravens line play ever. 2 or 3 of Joe's picks were purely his fault too.

We played a REALLY bad secondary today. Cant help but wonder what could have happened against a solid secondary

Lol

You're right bench Flacco, bench Rice, and fire Harbs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TRADE FOR BOLDIN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Flacco had chance, after chance, after chance, after chance and threw 5 picks......how is this dude worth that money, im sick of this crap man

NO other choice but to play Flacco - we paid him. We must eat the cap space and mediocre play that comes with it.

Will there be TDs in his future? Wins? Yes of course. And I;ll be happy when they happen. But he's nothing more than a glorified Matt Schaub, with a stronger arm in my books.

Again, I like being proven wrong by our players, especially when I think like this. But I might right on this one.

Not giving up, just thinking based on previous plays and recent games/what I see.

I thought about it for approx .5 of a second and realized how stupid what you said is.

There is no way we can get rid of Joe, because his signing bonus would be such a massive cap hit.  There's no way his "status" is being questioned.

Im not saying we can get rid of him, Im just saying it's gonna be difficult to win with him if he can throw that poorly against the Bills. Sure, its not all on him but at least 3 of those picks were.

Eh. He just wrapped his arms around him and tackled him. His helmet must nit have been strapped because he really didn't hit him that hard.

I actually don't think it was either, but it is what it is. Perhaps he unsnapped it himself to get the penalty. I don't know.

Who would have thought that the powerhouse divisions would be stinking up the joint so bad! Both the AFC North and NFC East have 3 0-4 teams between them! Unreal.

If Suggs pushes Manuel there instead of hitting him, we have a shot.

Why not tackle him and try to jar the ball loose?  He didn't take a knee. It's football for God's sake! They call that and no flags on repeated late hits on Flacco?

5ints are a joke... one in the endzone... The officials are a joke, the WRs are a joke. Harbs, squating on the ball before the half... A JOKE.

Agreed brother, we played horrible on offense and defense. I can't express my disappointment in our team's play today.

Hate on Joe as much as you want, he's not going to get benched. He'll be our QB next week, week after that, week after that, week after that. You think that after one terrible game he's going to be benched? C'mon, man!

Im not giving up on him either...but his desperate deep balls don't make up for him throwing 5 interceptions and inaccuracy

Adapt to his core? How is he supposed to adapt to a core that can't run their routes correctly, don't fight one iota for the ball, don't get any separation at all, and can't catch when the ball is put right into their hands? Not to mention he has zero time because the O line can't protect, and can't open any lanes for the running game..

What do you want him to do exactly?

Joe is a middle of the pack Qb, the ravens overpaid him because they didn't have any other viable option. I will agree this game rarely happens to Joe, but Joe is probably one the most inconsistent qbs around.

With zero run game and I mean zero ,the Bills could sit back on passing routes . It was a bad game by Joe but NO run game will kill the passing game .

This!

Matt Ryan has thrown 5 INT's, Drew Brees has thrown 5 INTS, etc. Bad games happen...

Exactly! No reason to say the sky is falling, but don't act like it doesn't fall on Joe, either. Football's a team sport, but it's hard to ignore so many turnovers.

And Rogers, and Manning.  I blame the O line much more than Flacco. No run blocking, no pass protection.....The worst performance ever by a Ravens O line.

He put the ball on Dallas Clark and Clark screwed it up.

We genuinely have the worst Tight Ends I have EVER seen.

Yet it still wasn't the best throw. IIRC it was a bit behind.  Come on guys, please, let's stop with the apologies. I'm not a basher. Never have been (of Flacco) check my history.

But man am I starting to REALLY feel that the haters of Flacco might just be right (at least with some things). Again, doesn't mean I will root against the guy. I'm not that guy.

However, it doesn't look favourable.

Again, I'd rather be wrong than right on this one.

I don't know what this new blocking scheme is they're trying to implement, but it's garbage at this point.  This game is on the O-line and on the receivers.  I give Flacco 2 picks (and if he wasn't trying to force the ball I don't know how many there'd have been).  The OL gets zero push, the can't open a rushing lane and they are giving zero pass protection.

Seriously, this was supposed to be the most consistent part of our team with having the same guys back.  All game, Flacco either has someone in his face or he's having to rush a throw.  How many passes did he have to make all arm today because it was impossible for him to step into the throw.

They are exactly where I figured they're be after 4 games, 2-2 ... except, I figured they'd lose to Denver and Houston with them gelling against Buffalo and starting to play some good ball by the fifth game.  After today's performance, this looks like it's going to be a long season unless they fix the O-line.

Last year's Philadelphia?

lol that's exactly how this felt/what I was thinking at the time. Except I'd tkae ;losing by a 4th down incompletion rather than a poor throw INT.

Be elite.

Don't you understand, the truly great QBs can overcome all that plus terrible play calling!!

lmao

I think with the Patriots struggles we've seen that isn't true.

Well time to revisit our entire season folks. This ain't going to cut it moving forward. To lose winnable games is not the way to make the playoffs.

Flacco's Ints have to go away sooner rather than later. Totally unacceptable. Every time I posted this genuine concern of mine regarding his INTs which really showed up in training camp through the preseason, I got heavily negged by all of you! Now, this happens! 5 INTs? Are you freakin' kidding me? This is no way to get into the elite conversation Joe!
