I don't understand why my thread was locked?

I start a thread about Flacco not playing on par with the money he chased and it was locked.  I was respectful of others in the thread not choosing to label others or responding in kind to vague personal attacks but yet it gets locked.

 

  Please someone clue me in. I'd like to start another thread but if it's going to cause my banishment I'll just leave on my own terms if only blind loyalty is wanted here.

 

 

Overall the mods do a good job but I believe they erred in this case. Thanks!  :ravensquote:

The thread had run its course and was starting to become too argumentative with a lot of back-and-forth between posters, and just not in line with the type of discussions we're trying to facilitate here.
