Ravens claim S Jeromy Miles

42 posts in this topic

The word is that the Bengals do like him as a special teams guy and backup but they had to make a few moves due to injuries in their secondary, including Miles himself, I think they brought a rookie cornerback up from their practice squad. Anything's better than Trawick's contributions so far, sorry kid.

What? Before he has a chance to injure Joe or Torrey? Man, talk about wasted playmaking potential. Bad move by Ozzie!

Nooo, Wait. We should send him to Bengals in exchange. That way he can help us by hurting couple of their players.

Except that Jones might be back sometime around the time we play Cincinatti and then Trawick just might end up being the first guy who gets to tackle Jones upon his return.

Good thinking. Now if it would happen to have both of them on the field at the same time, I believe Jones would be the one going for the knockout punch.

Any hope Jerry Rosburg gets cut too?

That coach sure seems to know talent when it comes to ST...

Nope. Rosburg is excellent. We had one of the best ST ever last year, and so far this year the Punt Return unit has been exceptional. Coverage has been solid too.

I know nothing about Miles.  what's the word on his gameplay?

He was the ST captain for the Bengals for a while, but he was never great at SS, and he has had injury problems.

The team also apparently was kicking the tires on Eric Frampton (former Dallas special teamer) this week so apparently that phase of our game is still regarded as needing improvement. I wouldn't go out and buy jerseys with any of these guys names on them just yet.

Don't try with him. Rosburg is just another dude he blindly hates regardless of reason.
