If we are going to sign anybody it needs to be Allen or Berry... not sure when Rice will be 100% and Pierce needs some rest... Draugn (spelling) is hurt. We need a back that knows the offense and could play both special teams... both things that they can do.

I don't know if they didn't see anything in him. They waived him to bring up guys to fill in due to injuries to starters. Brought him back and then waived him again, presumably for the same reason based on what I read.

 

Now, who's getting cut to make room?

Brown isnt a good special team guy and there is some speculation that the ravens signed Miles to get some info about the bengels defense and also to be used on special team.

Not necessarily.  I think Reggie Stephens would be gone first.  We have 2 healthy centers and Jensen on the mend.  No need to keep 4 around.

I swear we're the only team in the NFL that constantly needs to bring in "special teams aces" and like 4 of them to be able to actually cover kicks and punts.  Never been that big of a fan of Rosburg coverage wise, though I can't say bad things about him with the actual kicking department.

My bet would be maybe they promote the RB we have to replace the injured Draughn if Rice isn't 100% and they need depth.

Bear in mind that there will be a ton of shuffling at the bottom of the 53 man roster and it's not going to be meaningful in terms of active players. I wouldn't put much value in any of these guys this year. This signing probably was partly due to getting intel about the Bengals plays, and perhaps partly just to screw with them the same way Rex Ryan screwed with us snagging Trevor Price who we kept similarly sliding on and off the roster a few years back.

I hate to say it but I'm glad trawick is gone but why didn't we bring up Omar Brown. He has shown nothing but talent, potentional and poise .
