No brawl, just a stripper swinging a champagne bottle while dancing that inadvertently struck Jones. Personally, release them both. McKinnie is a penalty machine and although Jones can be productive when not injured, the Ravens have always avoided this type of publicity. With McKinnie's history with the "love boat" in Minnesota, he is just not worth it, neither of them are regardless. This is not being a Raven, is a distraction, and we just don't need that now.

Come on guys, cut him a break.  According to Aaron Wilson they were celebrating McKinnie's birthday.  I think the guy can get a pass to party at least one day a year.

Google "McKinnie" and "stripper". He's used up too many free passes on this front.

I think the brawl was when Jones "friends" tried to even the score fighting with McKinnie who was trying to keep them from beating up the stripper.  But no way the Ravens are going to release their starting left tackle -- we don't exactly have another healthy one waiting in the wings -- that's just silly.

I certainly hope there were team sanctions against the 2 for this behavior.  The example this sets is not what the Ravens should be about.  And as far as the grapple raven moderator nonsense regarding saying GO RAVENS IN ALL CAPS GO F YOU SELF

I wonder if they at least had the courtesy of offering to take harbaugh out for his birthday too. If not, there are two reasons he might be upset with them.

No.

These guys have lives outside of football, people. From what I can tell, it was just an accident. "One of Jones' friends reportedly tried to retaliate against Sweet Pea, but McKinnie stopped the friend and then a fight broke out between McKinnie and Jones' friend" - http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/23804560/report-ravens-wr-jacoby-jones-injured-by-stripper-on-party-bus

Bottom line, calm down. Do you not remember Ray Lewis in Atlanta? Come on.

I know, right? What could possibly go wrong driving around with a drunk stripper named Sweet Pea??

I'm not sure "accident" means what you think it does.

Seriously, I dont care too much about this, but I question any 30-something adult who still parties the way McKinnie does. At some point, you gotta stop acting like an 18 year old and act like a respectable adult

Stripper using an oversized champagne bottle as a weapon? Until more details are released, this is as much as an "accident" as Sergio Kindle's injury. No charges, no arrests, etc. At least it wasn't Jacoby swinging that bottle.

Whatever the case, this isn't even on the same level as Von Miller or Aldon Smith. Relax, people.

Um no. Jones friends fighting with McKinnie is the part that you referenced, and no that wasn't an accident.

I'm actually not so sure repeatedly getting in trouble while drunk with strippers is not on par with Aldon Smith. At least he's admitting he has a problem and didnt previously bankrupt himself with his issues.

I certainly hope 18 year olds aren't renting out party busses, dancing with strippers, and buying hundred dollar champagne bottles. As long as he isn't hurting anyone (or himself), I would love for him to enjoy his birthday however he wishes.

I thought that we went to the playoffs last year without McKinnie and anyone sitting after a 16 game season is going to perform well in the post season. People are crying don't release him and I guess if you live a life where strippers hitting people over the head with "ace of spades" champagne causing a brawl on a party bus is considered living life outside of football lead a different life than I do. I guess it's what is wrong with the NFL and their drug, alcohol and violence problems, that if you play well it's "okay" with a wink and a nod. Ask Von Miller and Aldon Smith how that has worked out in their life. McKinnie is in debt, can't pay his bills, is being sued, had problems with the love boat in Minnesota and clearly will never learn and is such a wonderful influence so go ahead and defend him and say how much the team needs him. I don't think I want that influence on my team, but I guess it's "okay" with you. Wink and nod. Also, "ace of spades" comes in metallic bottles so the hype of smashing a bottle over his head is a little impossible.

18 is too young for this, but 34 is perhaps time to cool it with all the partying with strippers (especially with a history of running up crippling debt at Miami strip clubs).

I think McKinnie should grow up already, but I think it's silly to suggest we start firing anyone caught out partying at 3 am. Its grounds for internal discipline perhaps, maybe suggesting a curfew, but not firing. And though we got to the playoffs without McKinnie, we wouldn't have beaten the good teams IN the playoffs without him. So he's going to have to commit a much more eggregious crime before we can him over poor decisions.

Formula for "Instant Idiot":

1) Testosterone

2) Liberally mix with alcohol

3) Gather with those dealing with both 1) and 2)

4) Kid yourself that partying and alcohol with those whom you do not know are dealing with 1) and 2)

Mix and enjoy the outcome, which is usually at best a severe hangover, and at worst.....lying in the gutter staring at the stars
