Ravens @ Bills

232 posts in this topic

Comming from a Bills fan this is a very interesting game for me because my fiance is a Ravens fan. Also the Ravens are my 2nd favorite team mainly because Ravens fans that I have had the priviledge on meeting are class act's and talk about football and don't do to much trash talk.

This game will go either way. Bufflao will need to get there running game going to even have a chance to win and will be especially hard with your front 7. I know that you guys lost so many players on the Defensive side of the ball, but your still good. As for the Bills Defense we have had our ups and downs, but what makes it hard on us our secondary is in shambles because of injuries. We pray to god that Leodis is gtg this weekend because Justin Rodgers is horrible at coverage and that is one of the main reasons that we lost lastweek with him giving up almost 270 yards and 2 TD's. Buffalo front 7 is great on pass plays, but still struggle on stopping the run. One player that you need to watch is Kiko Alonso, this rook had been playing lightsout and he is a absolute blast to watch.

All in all may the best team win.

kiko has by far been the best rookie linebacker in this years draft. great pick.

Lol I was setting you up for something but glad you delivered anyway

On a HIMYM roll since the season started...

Think Canty really is good to go now.. Just being cautious cause we have 50 guys on our DL

This should be a good game, I expect it to be close. Before seeing EJ in this first few weeks i figured this game would be a blow out, but he has shown some good stuff. Problem for them is.......Gilmore, Byrd, McKelvin,Mario,Stevie, and a few other guys havent praticed. I dont expect all or majority to be out, but losing any one of them is big for them....and big for us

Coming down from Ontario, Canada for this game .. Really stoked to see the boys in action! Bills can't be taken lightly though, they have a solid pass rush that could cause us problems. However, this is a game that I look for Flacco to put up some points and lead us to a win.

Has Pierce ever cracked 100 yards in a regular season game?  I know Rice will likely play, but this is a matchup I'd like if I were Pierce.

I'm pretty sure he did in one of the later games in 2012. Versus either the Browns or Giants

123 vs the Giants last year, 103 vs the Colts in the playoffs.

looks like all of bills stating secondary isnt going to be available.   Hoping this means Flacco can air a few things out.

Man bills have had it rough.

The bad thing is CJ is going back to his old ways and not running north and south like he should and he does realize that. Another note is CJ was a full go at practice today so i expect him to be playing on sunday. Dont count out Fred either we dont call him Fast Freddy for nothing.

I just hope this isn't a "trap".  We've been caught off guard by playing to the level of our competition and it has taken its toll.  This won't be a walk in the park, but we should be able to generate a hefty margin of victory.

My predictions:  BUF starts off conservative- lots of runs and 3 & short passes.  BAL accrues a daunting lead late in the game, forcing Manuel to try some of his late-game heroics.  He throws a pick in BAL territory to end the game.

We cannot down play them. They almost beat NE and at home they are rough. Wish i was going to the game!

No question about it. But, I'm going to enjoy watching this game at Ralph Wilson Stadium!

P.S. My first-ever NFL game I ever attended and I come from Canada!

P.P.S. I'd rather see the Bills host the Super Bowl Champs in Buffalo now than in December where the Falcons come to Toronto to play the Bills. Honestly, why the Falcons over the Ravens for the Toronto game?!

I think this is a game where we straighten out our run blocking schemes and allow Ray and Pierce some much needed action and stats. Also, this is a game where Joe should hone his play action deep passing to either Torrey or Deonte!

This game could go either way. It could be a blow out victory for the Ravens or a slugfest low scoring game. I think the latter is a little more likely given that Buffalo is hungry to redeem themselves and playing at home.

I am optimistic that this will be the game where the Ravens offense wakes up, particularly with so many Bills players nursing injuries. But you can't really bank on anything when playing an away game against a raw QB. The games they are supposed to win historically seem to be the hardest for the Ravens.

Im hoping the Jets, who in my opinion actually didn't play all that well, turned over the football, and racked up a ton of penalties, created enough of a road map for us. The long play to Santonio Holmes certainly suggests the secondary might be vulnerable to Joe going deep, and Smith is going to look a LOT faster than Holmes who was coming off an injury. This might be a good game to air things out.

im getting a bit peeved with our injuries.deonte might as well go on ir because he seems hapless. mcphee should just play 1 game ever 3 weeks. canty and rice were "close" a week ago and they arent even listed as probable a week later.2 full weeks to recover. we all know cody will be back in 3 weeks. harbs paints too much of a positive picture on injuries.
