Week 3 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans

Hey look! Irvin thinks we're the worst division in the league! What a surprise.

Is this the same guy who said injury prone Bryant was gonna be mvp?

Ravens get no respect on NFL network..

We need to stop getting blown out like we did week one. Also we need to be able to put points on the board in the first half unlike what we did in week 2 against the pathetic Browns. This us why we get disrespected so much, we need to be consistent in our play.

Nfl and espn love the steelers no matter how bad they are and always look to exploit our flaws

Even the AFC south isn't that great.

The only "good" divisions really are the NFC North, NFC West, and strangely enough, the AFC West.

Both divisions are pretty bad to be honest.

Not the best divisions in the game right now, but the Ravens and Bengals are better than every team in the NFC East. Every team in the East is capable of losing a game against anybody else, including Cleveland on a bad day (which seem more common than good days in that division).

On topic, I'm excited and nervous for this game. We still don't really know what to expect from our team this year, and I think the greatly improved rush defense could make a difference if Matt Schaub is asked to win the game. But, I'm honestly more concerned about not having Chris Canty, Arthur Brown, and Brandon Williams than I am about not having Ray Rice today.

I hope Thompson is healthy enough to play. I hitched my bandwagon to him early this preseason and I'm impatiently waiting to get a good look at him in year 2.

I thought I read here that he was injured again?

Me too. Having Canty and Brown would have been valuable today. Somewhat concerned with the defensive depth today.

I hope someone knocks Reed out of the game.

Do I feel bad? Nope!

Post of the day!

He should have retired and maybe that will happen today.

Really hard for me to be confident in this game. No Rice actually doesn't bother me that much...but the lack of depth on the DL scares me. Then we have our terrible passing game against Reed and J. Joseph...yikes.

Any idea how long Canty will be out?

Let's go Ravens! No Ray Rice on our side. Ed Reed on their side. What the heck is going on? I still believe my Ravens crush the Texans 38-20!

Well Reed's playing. This is gonna be a tough game. Johnson and Hopkins are gonna be tough to cover. Our D has to step up along with our O. The O-line needs to protect Joe and create holes for Pierce.
