Week 3 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans

We're playing scared on both defense & offense. It won't get it done. This isn't the Browns.

Tackling soft, when we do make a tackle, not making them feel it.

We've got to start playing to win here.

Crap the stupid zone defense. Stop the run, run 3rd and long offense.

Dean Pees needs to teach the defense how to strip the ball and knock it out of a receiver's or running back's hands.

Jimmy almost punched one out on the first drive.

Bench him like we did Huff and put Brown in.

He's out today but that's where we're going... Bynes is just making it happen faster

Flacco has made two plays.  Both on third down, both in traffic on well covered receivers.  Could he have made the balls more catchable?  Sure he could, but you really can't expect a quarterback to hit the pin point on every throw, you just have to throw it where only your guy can get it, and Joe did both times in unfriendly QB situations and both of them were *theoretically* catchable, but for Brown it was a tough catch that required a half step more on it, and for Clark it was a higher one that required a half step more.  In both cases, the throw was safe, because you don't want to turn the ball over inside your own ten yard line.  Certain receivers in this league would have had better balance and speed and hands on those plays and could have made their QB look good.  Marlon Brown and Dallas Clark didn't.  It wasn't just on Flacco, it was on the play calling that set up a poor situation and the whole offense's execution, including Flacco and the receivers in question.  The result is a punt, which is a lot better than an interception.

Nothing went well for us in the first Q, but we only trail by 6. But, Flacco needs to wear big boy pants now and lead us to victory!

Bernard Pollard is our best player on defense.  Andre Johnson is still hearing his footsteps in Baltimore after last week, playing scared so far.
