Just wanted to give a congrats on last week's game; yeah I know this is late but insane work hours + newborn who wants to start crawling = not a lot of free time on the internet.  =]

It would have been nice if a Browns WR could have caught a ball since it might have made a difference but none the less good game.  Any update on Rice?  Saw he went down with a potential hip flexor injury.

Thanks Rice is day to day . he's not practicing so not sure if he plays this week or not .  Sorry  about the Richardson trade I liked what the browns did this offseason allot of disappointed fans and of course players I thought the browns were going to compete this year.Good luck in the future here's hoping they grab bridgewater and not manziel then you will be back in the mix

I will be completely honest I didn't think he Browns had a chance of competing this year.  There was a lot of hype but one we lost two of our starting O-Linemen I knew it was going to be a long season because our backups are terrible.  I won't go into the Richardson stuff since I posted that in another thread.

Alas another wasted year though it seems.

Your defense looks like they are coming together quite well.  If you are able to keep all of your guys together (and healthy) and use your abundance of draft picks next year to get some quality offensive pieces, I think the Browns could definitely be a contender next year.

The Steelers are a shell of their former selves, and with their horrendous cap situation, I see them being in the bottom half of the AFC North this year and next year.  I think next year could be very competitive between the Bengals, Browns and Ravens.

I know this is off topic, but am I the only person who is tired of mods simply locking any thread that they don't like?I think the idea of trading Ray Rice is silly too but that is no reason to lock a thread that brings it up.You never know what could happen.Think of how many people would've wanted to lock a thread about trading Boldin for a 6th rounder or cutting Pollard at this time last year.

Not sure if this has been brought up or not, but am I the only that sees the irony of Bobby Rainey becoming a great back for the browns?? I hated when the FO fed him to the wolves and now that Rice is hurt who do we have if and when Pierce goes down?? I bleed black&purple but I swear this years moves have been plain stupid...

Good game to you too...

Rainey was a good back he just wasn't going to play ST enough. Granted now we would love to have him back now that jones went down. He is a ray rice clone.

Classy post brownsfan

Browns have some talented players for sure, especially on defense. A few good drafts and they could get somewhere.

Why oh why are you starting Oneill Cousins?? The guy is a turnstile, I remember a particularly atrocious pre-season game for the Ravens a few years back.

Joe Thomas and the super young Alex Mack so there is the talent there.

Cousins needs to go  :34853_shakehead:

One thing I can say about the Browns fans, you don't really see them trolling like so many other team's fans. If they do visit us here, they tend to be respectful and honest about their team. They do seem to be a very knowledgeable fan base.
