Apparently, the Browns also demoted Little and of course are starting their 3rd string QB over Jason Campbell this weekend.

Good for them

Greg Little is a horrible football player and I wouldn't be surprised if he lead the AFC in drops the last two seasons

Strong, powerful, able to get open and atrocious hands

Josh Gordon is back and they have other young receivers they can try out

I always thought Trent was overrated, but maybe being on the Browns offense held him back.  But wow, I'm shocked!  The Browns used the 3rd overall pick last year on a guy that ended up only playing 17 games there.

Campbell was their QB2 (for the record, I agree he sucks) but Hoyer was #3 and he got the start this weekend. I guess my thing here would be if you liked Hoyer better, why is he the #3?

lol Yeah after the Denver debacle I thought perhaps a change was in order. Then we managed to eke out a win against Cleveland so I guess my Raven's gnome is sticking around until we lose. So hopefully he's here for a long time :)

That was still under Homlgren, the new regime traded away Richardson. Usual not our guy so let's get our guy.

I'm very surprised at the move, but not at the price. Darrelle Revis was traded for a single mid-1st rounder. Frankly, I'm surprised that any RB outside of Adrian Peterson was able to net a 1st round selection. Sadly, this move can't be judged until next year. I do wonder what kind of shape Willis McGahee is in and how much impact he'll have if he passes his physical.

According to Mark Schwab of CBS-19 and 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland, Richardson said a friend called him asking if he’d been traded. He told his friend to “shut up” and hung up the phone, but when he turned on his radio he learned that he had, in fact, been dealt to the Colts.

What I find somewhat amusing and a bit sad is the Browns' fans who are like "Now we're going to get our QB for sure next year."  They do understand that even with a million picks, the draft is somewhat of a crap shoot.   Yea, you could get Peyton Manning ... or you could get Tim Couch. ... which you'd think they'd know all too well.

Oh well ... it's the Browns, what more can you say?

The Browns traded their first, fourth, fifth and seventh picks just to switch with Minnesota to get Trent Richardson. This is quite surprising.

 

At least we don't have to worry about them doing anything division changing with another first round pick.
