The Caps promoting MacLellan to GM is a freaking joke.  One of the big reasons they have been sliding into mediocrity is because the FO has been plodding along just doing the same things they were doing 6-7 years ago when the Caps might have actually had a chance to win the cup.  They would have been better off bringing someone in from the outside who would have new ideas for the organization and might actually want to get things done.  Instead we're going to get the same old thing from the FO and Trotz is going to have a fun time trying to whip this team into shape while not getting the support he will desperately need next season.
