They are examining him, If there is nothing to report yet that means they haven't anything yet which is good.

We were better with pierce in anyway. Worked out for this game in a way, just hope it isn't long term, because we will need him

Harbaugh said the Ravens are "confident and optimistic" regarding Ray Rice's injury

Someone could have torn an ACL and Harbaugh would say that lol

Harbs did not seem that concerned about it. He listed all the guys that were scheduled for an MRI and said Rice was not scheduled for one. He said he was "confident and optimistic" and he acted confident and optimistic. Hopefully, he feels better this week and is able to get back on the field to get after those Texans.

Hip injury on a RB could be bad. Im optimistic though. Think he'll be ready by next week.

what do you think happened? Can you twist a hip? Or what because it was weird, I thought it would be a muscle injury at first

I had a strained hip flexor last year in track(running the 200m), it happened coming out of the starting blocks. Obviously dont know how similar it was in terms or severity, but it kept me out for about a month while doing rehab. I could jog fine with it, but couldn't fully sprint. Hopefully Ray's isnt bad though.

Hip flexor is a muscle, or a group of muscles rather.  It could either be pulled or torn.  Tearing the hip flexor is rare, so it's likely pulled.  Prognosis is anywhere for a day or two to a few weeks.  It sounds like if he's walking fine, it should be on the lower end of that spectrum.

dudes on my fantasy football team. Pierce was already snatched up in the later rounds.

but now Frank Gore and Alfred Morris have to carry the load at RB for me and possibly no more RB at the flex position.

hope Ray Rice gets well soon....we need him in real life and fantasy.

Don't knock it until you try it

I'm a Ravens fan. Not a Peterson fan. Not a Calvin Johnson fan. Not a Dez fan. Etc... You get the point.
