Week 2 - Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns

2,490 posts in this topic

If you haven't noticed, nobody was open on 2nd or 3rd down, and he was flushed from the pocket and had to just get rid of the ball.  It wasn't so much as an overthrow as a "Let me get rid of this and if someone can jump high enough to catch it, that's cool, but I don't want to get intercepted either".  He threw either of those any lower, it's a pick.

He's still overthrowing wide open receivers though....

right, what are people watching? lol. I get not trying to put the blame on Joe but when it's his fault, it's his fault

Thank you.

Wouldn't say its ridiculous. Its been 2 drives..

They haven't done anything in a quarter. I played the Browns today in Madden 25 and beat them 59 to 10. And I only had 7 minute quarters! I expect results!

Lolol.

I'm sorry but anyone who isn't panicking right now is delusional. We are terrible. 0-2 can EASILY become 0-5 with our schedule.

Who the hell has been "wide open" so far? I've barely even seen someone remotely open.

We all have this conversation every year during a down period. It's early. It'll be okay. We'll all live.

They play the games for a reason. Don't assume that the tough teams will still be tough this season -- and vice versa about the bad teams.

The throw to Torrey on the left sideline.  Torrey was wide open and Joe threw it way higher than needed and Torrey didn't make the catch.

I have seen one wide open receiver all game, Torrey Smith on that one third down.  He threw it too high there.  Other than that, I disagree with you.  He isn't overthing wide open receivers PLURAL, he has done so one time.  The other plays you people are calling over-throws were not open receivers by any stretch of the imagination.

Sorry to all.  I'm all for Dean Pees stepping down as defensive coordinator.  This guy can't call a defense.  He is way too conservative.

One play indicates a trend? Okay.
