I'm gonna go ahead and file this story in the "Things I would be excited about if this was 2007" pile, right next to meeting Jessica Alba.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'd still meet Jessica Alba today if given the chance.

Can't see this happening.  Harbaugh doesn't appear to like strong personalities.  He wants 'good character' guys.  That's what the team is now; soft, bad tacklers and inexperienced. But 'good character guys'. :eyes:

Yea youre right... Elam, Brown, Simon, Trawick, Williams, Dumervil, Canty, Spears, Ihedigbo - all soft.

You're taking one guy, Huff, in one game and projecting it across the entire roster.

And all this time I thought he liked winners.

I agree. I wouldn't mind seeing Randy in a Ravens uniform. Many times when one of our receivers missed a one hand opportunity those of us in the stands would look at each other and say "Randy would have had it."

Chad Johnson wants to play for anybody. Way too much baggage. Don't do it.

Is it a coincidence that this popped up at the same time as the Jacoby incident?!  :bitenails:

Seriously though, we don't want to emulate NE and pick up any delinquents available, that's not the Newsome Way.

Having the most criminals and delinquents on an NFL team (like the Bengals used to have) doesn't usually end well. Same for Prima Donas like Carson Palmer. I'm SO glad that these guys are out of the Bengals locker room. At some point, players should stop blaming each other and realize that football is a TEAM sport. It's a simple concept, but some guys don't get it and may never get it. Like Chad Johnson.

Anquan lighting it up again tonight . Sigh .

Yep.  And the Ravens D is rounding into becoming what it should be.

Well there were scenarios where we could have resigned Q by spreading out some of his money and still pay for the defensive improvements.

No one knew Doom would have dropped into our laps either due to a fax issue.

Smith & Doom were big upgrades ,no doubt but we could have found a way to keep Q and still

have upgraded our D .

No thanks on the "spreading out" thing. I like the way our FO does business. I guess you think it's OK to fall into obscurity(like the squealers) for a few years for the benefit of short term gains. The Ravens do it the way it should be done. May not look or feel "spectacular" at times, but they have remained competitive year in and year out and as a fan, I like it that way.
