I'd rather see the Ravens go 0-16 and pick the top receiver in the draft. Less damaging to the team.

Believe it or not, there is thread about this topic already. It would be nice to give Joe a star receiver to throw the ball to for once. When Boldin became Joe's go-to-guy the production was amazing. I know, he didn't put up 400 yards passing, but going 11 TD 0 INT, is almost as, if not more impressive, imho.

Here's the thread:

And here's a short WR draft history discussion:

Shush! It's bad enough they're leaving the News Forum of this forum to come to Ravens Talk. Don't show them the Draft Forum!

If we go 0-16 we're taking an LT.

There is some truth to what you are saying. It's been a long time since we had a high draft pick. If you think about it, arguably the best two players on our team were the last two high draft picks we've had (Suggs, Ngata). It's difficult to sustain success when constantly picking at the end of the 1st round.

If we're not winning the Super Bowl anyway, I'll take 7-9 and an impact player.

I'm for whatever makes this team better.

But there's no way Harbs would ever be down for signing this old, potential headache.

You can't be serious.......   That's not less damaging a season like that would cause even more of an overhaul in the next year....

I would die 16 deaths before I see the Ravens go 0-16 regardless. I speak from the grave already since I died last Thursday for the first time!

We used to have these once an offseason. Back then they were annoying. Now they're just pathetic.

Yes sir......  I remember 2 years ago rumors of S.Smith possible trade, before the L.Evans deal, people were all trashing S.Smith he's finished blah blah.... While still wanting Mason back

This offseason for some reason I kept seeing H.Nicks name pop up, as if we have the cap space... lol

Maybe, but not after trading the 1st overall pick for a ton of picks from a  team wanting Bridgewater or Clowney (who has not impressed thus far this season)

Yeah, Honestly with the rookie wage scale having a talented team with a high draft pick is much more desirable.

If I wasn't on mobile, this would be a full facepalm picture topic. Johnson is a bigger washed up has been than Clark and Stokley combined. On top of that he's a locker room cancer. Horrible idea.

I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I don't mind to take a year off cuz we just won the SB...:)

No No to Chad drama Queen...

We need to play all rookie WRs and TEs cuz our team dynasty is now fallen on your young players which is good cuz they are our future.

Marlon will be the best undrafted FA gem we can ever find in many years.  Don't want to jump the gun but he will be elite reciever....

By the end of the year, Marlon catches too many balls and TDs that opponent defense have to double team which leads so some Torrey's dosage...

If the ravens for some odd reason would have a bad year, I want Marquise Lee. They can't keep neglecting offensive playmakers. That's how they end up with trying to use a Brandon Stokley as a band aid. No more pushing off receiver like it isn't a need.
