I thought Ray did well on what I watched of the morning show.  Usually I watch Fox NFL Sunday, but not today.  Maybe a little bias, but he seemed to be a bit deeper of an analyst than those other yahoos.

I didn't see Ray on ESPN but I'm sure he did well. He's a great speaker and has the passion and insight that most analysts don't.

This is why I can't see him staying away. I see him coming back in a coaching capacity eventually.

The thing is Ray does everything with a passion unknown to mankind. He will excel in everything he attempts because he will put the time and energy that is needed.

He still picked the Ravens to win the Superbowl.  That was nice.  Anyway, he was good on the show.  He wasn't quite as ready to get into the discussion and shout over the others as the guys who have been together for years and are comfortable with each other, but that will come.  As should be expected, it looks as though he's taking this seriously and working hard to do a good job.

Hahahahaha. You mean you thought he was going to take the Tiki Barber approach?

Ray rocked it last night on Monday night countdown . he doesn't yell, talk over people, or interrupt others .Now if he would take Gruden's place on play by play mnf would be fun to watch again.

For as much crap as people give him Ray is actually quite calm when he doesn't have football pads on or just won an against all odds game.  He sits quietly until he's asked to speak or has something to add.  And I sincerely doubt he'd give everyone a nickname if he was calling a game live.  I'll never forget Gruden calling James Farrior "father time" during a Steelers game...literally no one calls him that.

I'd miss the drinking game I use Gruden for, though.  I won't list all the rules, but we do have to drink 2 every time he says, "This guy," so it can definitely get messy.

I'm guessing I'd be on my way to the hospital before the end of the first quarter, man.  That's some dangerous stuff right there man.
