Where is that guy on here who said during the offseason that Boldin was "an over aged and slow receiver". I wonder if that guy still thinks that.

Hey Ozzie!!! Way to go on releasing Boldin!!

That was me. I sincerely apologize to Raven Nation.

...anybody else know what we got with all that freed up Boldin money??

Yeah, about half of our defense

Enough with Boldin already. He is not a Raven anymore.

Go on, neg all you want. I'm more interested in Marlon Brown, Ed Dickson and Dallas Clark more than Boldin.

Ozzie said we got of we didn't get rid of Anquan we wouldn't have Dumerville or Michael Huff. But Huff is terrible...One of the worst decisions Ozzie made with the Ravens

Oh, ye "prisoners-of-the-moment"... .. .

When do you EVER remember Boldin having a 200-yd, multiple touchdown performance for us?? There's a reason they just said it was his "first career" game of such. He doesn't do this every week folks. 10 years in the league and he finally has a crazy breakout game. You know what that means? It means, he had a crazy breakout game. . .not that Ozzie was foolish to trade away a 200-yd, 2 touchdown/ per game receiver.

True fans that watch and stick with the RAVENS know that Boldin played like a RAVEN and we love him for his time here, but he was not what some of you are nostalgically trying to remember him as. (Sheesh! I guess Derrick Mason & Mark Clayton were #1 and #2 receivers in the NFL every season when we had 'em, huh? Lmbo!)

In Oz we trust!
Go RAVENS!

The only negative other than us trading Boldin is now all of the media will continue to bring up our smashing we took on Thursday and tie that into Boldin's big day with SF :(

well considering the fact that our offense's primary problem was the inability to separate and/or catch in traffic, theyd be well within their rights and i couldnt begrudge them for doing so

And let me tell you Anquan whier guys one more main thing before I call it a night:

1). Q is at the twilight of his career he's already 33.

2). Q doesn't have the height that Marlon does (6'5") I've seen a ball that Colin overthrew that Marlon would be tall enough to go up and get.

3). Marlon can block as good as Q plus he's faster, and younger (23) did I also mention he's tall?

Umm yeah so Marlon Brown is something special..

a stacked defense that was ultimately ineffective because they were gassed since the offense couldnt hold the ball longer than 3 seconds.

Dude are you seriously going to forget all those catches that Boldin made during our last regular season, our play-off run, and the super bowl.

I have never heard such ungratefulness in my life. Can you please go be a Patriots fan.

Bandwagon fans are always trying to tell other people to root for other teams LOL. I acknowledged Q's great string of catches throughout the play-offs last season, thus, me being "shocked" as I mentioned previously. If you weren't so busy being a part-time fan you would've read my initial post more carefully.

Hey I'll take the you g and up coming MARLON BROWN for 5,000 dollars any day over 11 year veteran Boldin for 6mil we need guy Flacco can grow with Boldin days were comin to an end so we traded him get over it. Once FLACCO gain chemistry with his new guys we will have a good Wr core. Torrey Smith, Marlon Brown, Jacoby Jones, Deonte Thompson all that young speed will come to light very soon.

9 wins to take this division imo. as long as we win our division games we will be in the playoffs once again. we may lose to the bengals once. boldin will not put up those numbers every week. we gained so many players buy trading him and enough with saying huff stinks because it was his 1st game in this system and the whole defense will improve as we move forward. my biggest concern is the play of the te's. go ravens!!

Wish Anquan well. He played great today! We did get Canty, Dumerville, Spears, and Huff fom freeing up that money. Anquan just might be the exception of former Ravens going to other teams and doing well. Good for him! It is over with and we have to trust Ozzie and move on.

Didn't mean to hit the green arrow! Meant 'Quote'

Can Marlon make 13 catches for 208 yards mostly over the middle with guys in tight coverage and score a TD?

Huge mistake! Could have negotiated better or found the money to pay the man, and I do mean Man!

Our running game will take a hit too. Why do people seem to overlook Boldin's blocking downfield, and off the line? That was a big hit to our offense. How many 3 and outs did we have last week??? Exactly.

well, nobody does that every week...that's really not as comforting a thought as you think it is.

Boldin was a monster today for SF, not sure a 6 round pick was a fair trade.

Interestingly hoe Q caught a pass for every drop that Ed Dickson, Dallas Clark and Stokley had and still had catches to spare!

Now, before the "get over it" crowd starts, no, we're not! It was a dumb move for the wrong reasons and where's our Sixth Rounder? What's he doing?

You can say that Boldin's playing days were coming to an end, but yet we sign two has-beens that are 37 years old, and a 34 years old respectively to replace his production. 13 rec 208yds & TD does not sound like a guy who's playing days are coming to an end. Name one receiver on the Ravens roster not named Torrey Smith who could put up numbers like that!

Q is just another player in the NFL who is not a
Raven. A lot of players had a good week,
including Q. Congrats to them all! Let's worry about
who the Ravens have on the roster! IMO bring
the youngsters on. Develop Mellette, Brown,
and get Furstenberg off PS. Phase out Stokely
and Clark ASAP.
the boldin trade will pay off as our new defensive pieces begin to gel. it takes time especially when you have so many new faces and young guys like arthur brown and josh bynes in the fold.

I guess considering how bad our game was and what we need to work on (and we will), that we're blessed? At least in division, we're still starting evenly next week.
So lets win.
Go Ravens!

You must be a "troll" for the front office making a comment like that. You can throw out age and height all you want to. It's about production. Once again PRODUCTION. If you think of it that way there's no way the trade made was a good trade.
