Well the Boldin Trade can't just be judged over what he is doing today, or by what we did on Thursday night. Look at what happened today,our division is weaker... You make these moves when its not going to hurt you that bad. So Now was the time to rebuild. I'm not mad at the trade at all, because if we can save 4 mil and still win division, with even more tougher decision coming up next year why not.

Ozzie is a genius and we absolutely love him. But this Boldin trade is quite possibly the worst mistake we've made as a franchise.

I take it your watching Boldin put up a highlight reel on the Packers D as well. I really hate that our organization wanted to trade him away. Even though we as fans expect our players like Brown and Smith, with Pitta, Dickson, and stokley to make up for the loss. It won't happen like that. This might be the dumbest move we ever made by trading Boldin away.

 

There were other ways to get more cap space for us than getting rid of Boldin. So far right now in the 3rd quarter Boldin has like 10 catches for around 130 yds and a TD against the Packers!

 

That goes to show that maybe it was our play calling or QB decision that held Boldin from being all he could be.

 

I just hope we won't always be plagued by having a mediocre performing offense.

Exactly. They got to big headed and became spoiled by the Super Bowl win. I always said that the two biggest mistakes we made this offseason was the release of Boldin and Pollard. Boldin more so, because we will definitely needed a proven veteran receiver on our roster. I would of never traded away Boldin.

 

Believe me, if they signed him to that contract when they first signed him, then they had the money to pay him. Ozzie and the guys just got spoiled, and did a shady move, point blank.

 

I don't care, I will just put it out there, I am pissed that we gave away Boldin especially after seeing how he is performing right now, when he could of still been doing those things for us.

 

Every catch that our WR's/TE's dropped against the Broncos were the passes that Boldin would of caught.

We are extremely fortunate to play as awful as we did and still be tied for first , especially because we're in a good divison. I hope that the Denver game has lit a fire because we have a super fortunate opportunity to claim first with a divison win this upcoming Sunday . I'm hoping for the best and I also hope harbs grills the players who played especially bad , Michael huff cough cough dallas Clark cough cough and Ed Dickson cough cough .
