we are not in a game until next sunday we have alot of changes we need to improve the roster and personnel lets start with Dean Pees he does not blitz at all he is always pass conservative all we do is fall back in coverage the first step in coaching is when our players fail we as the coaches fail

I don't think Pees called a great game and I don't like some of the assignments that it appears he called but I'm not going to judge him yet. It's one game.

The theory with this years defence is we shouldn't need to blitz much because of Dumervil, Suggs and Canty. And if our defence gets shredded with 7 in coverage before the pass rush could even get there at times, how are we going to cover with 5 or 6?

Pees is by no means a great defensive coach, but he's serviceable. I'm not opposed to him being replaced but there's a severe lack of quality DCs in the game right now.

Where did you get Gunther Cunningham from?  First off, a coordinator isn't going to go from one DC job to another in the middle of the season.  Second off, he runs a wide-9, 4-3 scheme and the Ravens run a blitzing 3-4, exact opposites.  There isn't going to be a defensive coordinator change this early in the season.  If for some reason there was, it would be a promotion from within, like Steve Spagnuolo.

Last I checked we were shredded by Peyton Manning, probably the greatest regular season quarterback of all time.  Now if Blaine Gabbert had done this to us, I might be a little more concerned.

You don't fire a coach just one game into a season, especially when we just went up against the best offense in the NFL on a mission of revenge... LOL!! Come on man.

good point i mean if we get rid of him he could go somewere else and be really good and beside it is manning he can break down a D really good
