From what I've seen most teams are eliminating the forum feature from their pages. Most have or are switching to a blog-based page or having fans post on Facebook.

. We like to think ours are the best.

Not to kiss up or nothing, but its is because how well moderated it is, and how well the posters here stick with the guide lines.

Its a classy place.  Kinda like a nice family restaurant where you can take your whole family for a nice dinner.

Yeah, this is a nice place.

All teams have fan forums. Several teams have official forums. We like to think ours are the best.

Without a doubt our site is the absolute best!

It's "how well the posters here stick with the guide lines" that makes it work. Civil people make a great site.

There is a message board on the Eagles web site, where I have been posting for the past seven years, under the name , "GoRahGeorge".  I feel at home in both this forum, and on the EMB.

I just hope I didn't wear out my welcome here.

Cleveland has a forum but it's really kind of lame overall.  They're very restrictive about what you can and can't post so honestly if anyone here complains about how this place is run then they have no idea IMO.

They are more stingy than here ?

I mean that doesnt mean much.  Being mean, profanity, politics and religion is basically all that is off limits here.

Yeah, I tried to join the Redskins' Forum, but was never granted posting privileges...  The Jaguars have a big fanbase on their Forum, surprisingly.  Their peak "Users Online" (6,607) is much bigger than ours (4,402).  Ironic, considering they haven't nearly as much to cheer for as we have.  The Panthers' Forum only has 219 Members!  :TVWatchingSmiley:  Most of the Forums use the exact same Web Format as our site.  A lot of the Forums have issues with moderation too: either they're complaining it's too strict, or practically non-existent on a couple.  We have the most comprehensive Off-Topic Forum.

Every time I go to the "Browns Board" its like they have zero moderation.

As "heavily" moderated as these forums seem, I still think we're allowed to get away with a lot of stuff.  I'm thankful for this place, gives me a place to hook up with other Ravens fans that I normally wouldn't get to talk to inside of Indiana.  Not to mention some of the friendships I've made - so yeah.  Thanks Mods, thanks to the organization for keeping this place classy and ongoing.

No, I don't engage in that activity - I just try to speak an honest opinion concerning what I recall of different things.

I agree with Moderator 3 that there is a fan forum for every team. But seldom when I visit other team pages do I see an option for the fan forum on the home page. I truly appreciate this forum. I enjoy hearing/seeing other fans point of view on things. Both for the Ravens and for other teams. Please keep up the good work on our forum.

Interesting.  It's been a while since I've regularly scoped it out so I wonder if they've let up on it some now.  Either way I always found it "meh."
