Seven Nation Army Chant

135 posts in this topic

I like the chant but now that several other teams are doing it, I'd like to see us get something original we can call our own.

The CHIEFS have a badezz chant. (indains chant)  It will make your hair on your skin rise.

I highly disagree!  I'm talking about the stadium playing the instrumental to this cut brah! smh!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RZZHtnfBCM

this Luda tune is catchy, hip and the beat is bumping!  and the theme..."Number One Spot!" says it all!  this would be a great anthem!  the instrumental beats are classy and while the music (instrumental) plays for a few minutes...then the fans in M&T Bank can catch onto a specific piece of the hook; "Don't slip up or get got!  I'm coming for that number one spot!....Keep it going and don't stop....I'm coming for that number on spot!"  Maybe these words can be on the jumbo tron with a little bouncing ball on top of them?  imo, I even believe that this would even get our players adrenaline pumping and inspire them to wreck havoc on their opponents.  maaan!  this cut is hot!  LOL!!

Did this go a couple of rounds with the twilight zone, it seems to have changed since yesterday?

Anyway, if we're still worried about Miami using 7-nation-army, maybe we can suggest this to them:

You are mistaken about the DOLPHINS using the Chant, that was actually our RAVENS fans at the Miami game.

I know it kinda unreal because it was so dam loud and i honestly thought the samething when i was first watching the game until i saw all the RAVENS jerseys.

Haha I actually believe that based on how empty (except for Ravens fans) the game was when we played down there. Baltimore fans were probably pumped at a Bengals loss

Yea, i think the MIAMI broadcasters said they have never seen that many FANS travel to another stadium EVER.

Plus , also it wasnt like it was just a state over. Its close to 1000 miles one way. And i highly doubt all those fans were from Miami.

Guys....  "The U" has been using that chant for a very long time....  and the Phins and Caines are one down here.

And the Miami Herald actually mentioned that they have never seen so many "visiting team fans" at a game as they did the Baltimore game.  I believe the estimated count of "purple" fans was around 28,000.  And he had been covering the Phins for around 9 years.

It was soooo sweet seeing all of that purple in Miami Stadium...  I was just really bummed that I couldn't go.  It's about two and a half to three hours South of here.

yeah baaaby!  and there is nothing wrong with that!  lol!  It's definitely catchy!  I'm pretty sure tons of people seen that movie as well!  but I think that some of you cats are missing the main point...which is the "theme" of this song!  going after the #1 spot! but oh well!

we get the theme, but its just a bad song.   Its not a bada** song, its a silly romp in music land with a hook from an even sillier movie.

Seriously, if I were at a stadium and I heard that instrumental playing, I'd expect the team to come out in bright purple tu-tu's around their uniforms and fruitcake it up

1st...I don't care what anyone says...that song is hot and would work in a stadium or arena setting.  2nd..it is so easy for you cats to criticize my suggestion without posting "your" own song suggestions in its place.  smh!  lol!

you're right lol  it IS easy to criticize it.   Heck, I"m sure that's why most people aren't even bothering commenting, because it would be a ridiculous choice!

I'm just giving you a hard time dude.

I'm not into stadium rock, country, headbang crap, or new rap pop so I honestly don't know what people would respond to.  I like the indie stuff, the underground hip hop...stuff that won't make radio play for another 2-3 years, if that.    So my suggestions would be ones you'd never heard of, or just wouldn't be suited either for chanting along

I don't feel a hard time whatsoever and cats not commenting on a post of mine doesn't phase me at all man!  I'm too old to care about that stuff brah!  lol!  I just think that beat is banging!  seems like you cats are just focusing on the little "Austin Powers" diddlie in the track and not the actual beat of the song!  it's all good!  I want to hear it in either a stadium or arena (basketball) though.

P.S. Oher would be bombing his head and body bouncing to the beat brah!  LOL!!

Like that! Is anybody else using it? It's been around since 2008. That's been hot. Best suggestion so far.

And the thread ends with no other suggestions? Okay let's just do what we do.
