I know you are going to hate this comment but ill type it again anyway.

That is why our superman QB should have left money on the books for his help.

I'll bet money if they offered Montatna a huge contract and they told him it might lead to the release of Jerry Rice, he would've taken less.

Now Boldin is no Rice but in Baltimore he was. The proof is on the field. I knew we would regret that.

Boldin isn't the guy I'm missing. That would be pitta

You beat me too it.  He wasn't released because of his 'body language'.

You make it sound like Boldin was a force in the regular season.  He was good but was ineffective in many games.  You are putting him on a pedestal to fuel your hatred towards John while making up theories.

I won't deny that Boldin was a beast in the playoffs for us.  But his price tag was hefty.  I'm guessing that if the Raven's brass knew we'd be without Pitta, Boldin would still be on this team.

Boldin made players around him better.  He would draw the most attention on third down because everyone knew that's where we would likely go.  That means easier catches for Pitta and Torrey.

More of bc I like the Marlon Brown guy lol.

Pitta on the other hand I will complain about all day

Why would the coaches start the season with one pair of sure hands?

Brown and Torrey look good. Stokley has a good set of hands but has no speed whatsoever Lol.
Dallas' hands are shaky but will prob get the rust off them. That being said I still want Pitta back.

I hear John hates kids because they talk back, and he burns Instruction manuals because he doesn't want to be told what to do.  He also clubs seals in his spare time.

I heard John once put hand sanitizer in his daughter's eyes because she gave him a dirty look.

I heard this too. Honestly, he should have her kicked out of the family.

You might have a point if Flacco's cap hit wasn't $6.8M this year.

I would love to know how all of you have access to the locker room so that you can say you KNOW how players act and treat the head coach behind closed doors.

Its NO WAY you can look at our last gsme & say we didnt need Boldin. Fact is we needed both, just look at all the 3rd down droped passes by the No Named WRer core ( Everyone not named T. Smith) we have. & For the love of GOD why cant Dickson catch?

Perhaps Boldin should have taken a pay cut, since he's the one making over his market value. His base salary is 6th highest for WR in the NFL.

You have to understand economics, specifically the Ravens style.  The Ravens are one of the few who truly stick to the market value way of dealing with contracts.  And they do it well, keeping us competitive every year.  Boldin's price tag did not match his production in the regular season.  He was a beast in the playoffs, but the Ravens are not going to over pay.

You have to look at the bigger picture.  It was a tough move to make, but it allowed us to invest in the D-line, which was bleeding against the run last year.  Sure we are going to have growing pains and pitfalls, but the move helps more than just this one year.

Couldn't agree more.  It's okay to argue with your players.  It's not okay if the run all over top of you.  But a healthy argument from the guys playing the game is not always a bad thing.

He doesn't like to be challenged, we can see that in the pressers.

He had better get some players in here that can communicate with the coaches what's going on on the field.  Otherwise that same situation with Graham and the challenge flag will happen all season.

When he didnt make that challenge and His CB is telling him it hit the ground and being so adamant about it. Thats a SERIOUS problem no matter how you look at it.  That just says he doesnt Trust his players and i know the D was pissed because of it. I really do believe that cost us the Game.

I heard he said he didnt see the replay and he actually had the nerve to take a jab at NBC for it. lolol WHAT!!!!, NBC replayed it twice before Manning was able to get a play off, i almost lost it when i heard that.

I would have maybe understood a bit more if he simply said he F up.

But this is not the first time, He doesnt like to throw the red flag for some reason.

A Great Example is in the Play off in 2012 Playoffs in the Divisional round against the Texans. ( the one where Jacoby Jones muffed 2 punts when he was a Texan)  I Remember that game like it was yesterday.

Remember we couldnt get any drives going the whole first half. And it all started on the RAVENS first drive. It was a 3 and Out because yet again 1st down - Run   -  2nd down - Run so on 3 and 12 we do an obvious throw.  Flacco throws it to LQ Williams ( my boy ) , LQ made an amazing Finger tip catch and was able to drag both he feet in bounds and the Refs ruled him out.

Now Mind you, this is at the Bank with plenty of time to see the replay on the big screen. They showed the replay a few times and just watching one replay you could see he was clearly in and Harbs didnt challenge it. what the heck.

I think if he would have threw the flag and without a doubt it would have been over turned and it would have been a new set of downs.

Without a doubt, i truly feel that had we been able to convert it and continued that drive ,our offense would have been able to get on a roll. But for the rest of the game we just couldnt move the ball, our special teams ( and J.Jones) helped us WIN that game.

The only reason we won that game was because of Jones muffing two returns.

And there are quite a few other times that Harbs should have challenged plays in other game but that one really really stuck with me because im a Huge LQ fan and there is no excuse for it when your playing at home.

Also, he is another thing that there is NO EXCUSE !!!! for.

Why in the world is it,  HARBS just Does not like to call time outs when our Defense is completely gassed , especially if your playing Manning let alone Brady using the no huddle. Why wouldnt you call a time out.  There have been sooooo many times where we have 2-3 time outs and we dont use them. This isnt a rollover phone plan with mins where if you dont use them its rolled over to the next month or (football game ) Last season when we got our butts handed to us playing the TEXANS , Our Defense were running on Fumes and we should have called a Time out to regroup ( we had plenty of time outs and never used them. Now , In the DENVER GAME ( this yr), I think we ended up having all 3 times outs in the second half ( maybe 2 ) and i didnt use them

And im pretty sure we had atleast 2 in the first half against Denver

It really is Complete stupidity.

Making too much the man that catches just about everything in traffic?  Watch the San Fransico game and tell me if he should ever consider a pay cut. Ever!  He is going to Turn Colin into a better QB and get him payed just like he did Joe. SMH at what this team sees in our talent.

They over payed for Joe.  He needs help.

I do see where you are coming from.

I know, i saw the game . And now i can honestly say im kind of depressed and now know for sure we have along tough road ahead of us, if our WRers dont start getting open and catching balls.
