FA is ot an option worth aking. there are only the scrub of scrubs left at this point.

might as well use what we have if we dont make a trade which i feel is by far the only option worth taking.

TE- Furstenburg needs playing time Returner- Deonte if he's heathy or Bobby Rainey . Oh that's right , we foolishly cut Rainey who got snapped up by Cleveland in a second . Rainey was a good security blanket for returns and in case Rice or Pierce got hurt since we cut All our other halfbacks .

I kept saying we needed to draft a WR, but we must have needed ST players more than WR'S.

WE dressed 4 WR's. I am sure we had more special team players in uniform than that. This is not a very strong Ravens team.

I agree. People keep saying we'll be fine, but these aren't fixable issues. We have fundamental personnel problems. Thin depth at WR, TE, OL, and CB. When an injury to a meh receiver like Jacoby torpedoes your offense you know things are bad.

Oh please.

Jacoby comes back at 100%. Fixed. He should be the slot guy instead of Stokley. We will prob being either a WR or TE via trade

Leon Washington is on the market.

TE? Dickson sucks, but at least Clark tries. He looked rusty, but actually caught passes. He deserves another chance, but if he blows it...

Plus, Pitta is on IR designated to return

Oline? Oher is coming back and Harbs is prob whipping everyone in that department into shape

CB? More like FS. And we have a guy in Elam who can come in and replace him.

Not to mention it was ONLY WEEK ONE. The better team won Thursday. That doesn't mean they will be better by the end of the year. With Pitta back, we have another weapon. Elam plays well, FS is solved. Jacoby comes back and your boy Mellete plays well, we have good WRs. Oline is young. But Harbs will whip them into shape.

These are fixable issues.

It's only week one. Quit complaining

Even with Jacoby back that leaves 2 known quantities instead of one? That's a thin position.

Both TEs look bad. When you're just hoping one gets better, that's a thin position. We can't count on Pitta either, as that was a serious injury.

Oher, who is okay but not great goes down and the line collapses. Gino is a bum and is destroying the run game. THIN.

The only one I'm willing to acquiesce on is CB. I don't think Graham is as bad as he looked on Thursday. I'm not even willing to say FS because Harbs has rookie phobia and wants Elam to be a ST ace instead of a defensive stalwart.

These problems are not fixable with our current personnel.

It's just week 1. With a loss next week "it's just week two." Keep saying "it's just" and before you know it we'll have 7 losses and it's only week 12.

Like to see Mellette in the slot with Marlon on the outside .

I actually want to see the opposite. When they were both on the field in the preseason, we saw Marlon in the slot and Mellette outside. Mellette seems to work the sideline routes very well, and Marlon goes over the middle better than Mellette.

Ha. What's more respectable? Scoring 27 points or allowing 49? Exactly.

Flacco threw for 362 with a HORRIBLE WR corps.

Marlon
Torrey

Fine. They're ok

Clark

Still needs to prove himself more, but he actually caught passes.

Mellete is an unknown

If we get another TE to replace drops Dickson then I think we will be fine. Way to overreact people

He also threw 62 times. That's a horrid 5.4 YPA. Granted he should've had 100 more yards and 10 more completions, but still.

You're missing the point, 362 is a good stat night for ANYONE. Even if he throws the ball that much. He was MONEY. He should've had well over 450 and a few more TDs.

Would've could've should've. Stop with the negative crap. We lost. Get over it. I'm pretty sure the coaches and players are looking to see what they could do better next week

Yards in bulk don't mean anything, it's about YPA. It's the reason I don't respect guys like Matt Stafford. Of course he throws for 5000 yards every season, he tosses the ball 700+ times on a consistent basis.

I'm sorry that this makes you angry but it is what it is.

No. No it isn't. It's not impressive when you throw for 362 on 62 attempts. It's like running for 100 yards on 40 attempts. It's gonna happen if you do it enough. However, 34 completions for 362 is okay.

I agree. Yardage means nothing. Efficiency means so much more.

Yes but it's not Flacco's fault here.
WRs had like 15-20 drops.

He had some bad throws and all but he didn't play a bad game.

He had to throw the ball, WE WERE PLAYING FROM BEHIND. And his WRs couldn't catch it.

Nobody is blaming Flacco, we're just saying he didn't have a good night.

That not good night isn't entirely his fault. That's on his WRs mostly.

Sure, he had 4 or 5 bad throws but with 62 attempts he was going to have some bad throws.

He should've had several more receptions and yards. Flacco didn't have a bad night either. He was very meh
