I've seen some people's questioning his playcalling. What do y'all think?

Honestly, I'm not sure what he could've done. After Jacoby went down there was really no way to run the no huddle. Run blocking was terrible. You don't want you QB throwing that much, ever, though.

He can't make guys block or catch. Last night was not on him, he was trying to get the run going before we got shut down even more. I saw a good mix of route depths and trying to use the short passing game since the run was completely worthless. Cam would've had them running 9 routes all game and exacerbating our protection issues.

I had no problem with the play calling or Joe Flacco last night. What killed us was critical drops, a couple special teams play and poor tackling. I worry about our TE's inability to hold on to the ball. I think Cleveland @ home..as this game should have been..thank you very much..will be a big confidence builder.

There were a few times I was wondering what the heck, but all in all, he was just fine. Sloppy, sloppy execution....

There was just too much going on about this game in the past few months and they just could not execute in most phases last night but this one is in the rear view mirror and with 10 days til the next game there will be much work to do...Dickson and Clark's dropped passes were real daggers. I hope to be able to look back at this one in late January and laugh.

Our TEs need to get out and spend some serious dates with their ball machine from now on as if it was your first girlfriends......

One thing he could do is stop calling that roll out play. In two games against Denver he's called it resulting in a near interception and a near safety.

This is true but he was certainly channeling his inner Cam Cameron a lot last night as well. I hope to never see him do that again. We needed a spark after the blocked punt and he came out run, run, oh 3rd and long, I guess we'll try a pass. Typical Cam. Given that the three stooges couldn't catch anything at all, it might not have made a difference if we'd opened it up, but we'll never know.

Ya.. I know what you mean.

There was one classic run run pass punt that ticked me off, but other than that.  He stuck with the run longer than I would have, which is impressive because that stuff was shut down.  But you know Baltimore fans, "smash mouth football" and all that nonsense from 10 years ago.

yup, a simple status quo change cause they locked in on us in the trenches. Now you account for the QB running.

since taylor is not the starter you put him in RG3 mode.

Please don't ever compare Tyrod Taylor to RG3 again

I had no problem with him. My only nit pick would be using that rice slot pass too many times. I could see that pick six coming. Anyway, drops, bad blocking when Oher went down, No Jones, bad decision to not have Mellette active to sub. Joe and Jim had their work cut out for them and they did the best they could with what they had. You just can't spin 7 TD's into it somehow being the offense's fault.

Literally the dumbest thing I've read all day, and you have some stiff competition I must say.  I mean I knew some idiot would suggest we use Tyrod, but seeing it actually happen is still jarring.

I don't know what people expect. It's hard to run the ball when, A. You're already having trouble moving the chains, B. You're down 3+ scores the entire second half, and C. No one is sustaining their blocks. Of course Joe is gonna throw it more when the team is being blown out, in 3rd and longs all night.

Flacco has been staring down receivers as soon as he touches the ball.  he's got to cut that out!

He just seemed to run at strange times, but I'm sure he had his reasons that we aren't privy to; Flacco made an audible to a draw that blew up in our face too, lol...whatya gonna do man...one of those nights where it didn't really matter what we did

Yeah, he does. That second pick he threw was just outrageous. I mean as hard as he stared down Rice, you would have thought he saw the LB standing right next to him, lmao

They were down late and he was trying to make something happen.

Well, I feel like we learned a lot about our team last night...some of it good. Looks like Touchdown Marlon Brown is the real deal (you guys can thank me later for the nickname lol), Flacco is picking up where he left off, and the offense has the potential to be dynamite once we gel.

The bad news is that Corey Graham went from being a gem to being put on notice, The Jimmy really ticked me off with that personal foul, and we are not nearly as disciplined as we need to be (particularly the young guys)

Jimmy played well IMO other than the one TD.

Jimmy played well other than that one TD IMO. The lack of discipline was expected. We have a young team.

Caldwell called a good game, don't get me wrong, but our TEs need to learn how to catch lol. I'd trade for a TE, not a WR lol. But that won't happen. No trade will

If the offense clicks soon, LOOK OUT

Jimmy isn't a young guy though, there's no excuse for his behavior.

I'm still collecting my thoughts. I have quite a few takeaways from the game, but sit want to ramble too much. And I'm trying to get all the negative out.

it was part Flacco, part Caldwell

We ran the play twice before the pick, even I could have jumped that route. Maybe Flacco shouldn't have thrown it, but give credit to the DB he perfectly jumped the route
