Also, please cut Dallas Clark. He was dropping balls all Pre-Season, and it has continued into the season. Give some no-name RFA a chance or something.. They can drop balls just as well as Dallas Clark.

Harbs' coaches dropped the ball! It's that same ol "time-out in the pocket" thing that haunts the "greatest coach in America"...

//rolling my eyes so hard I gave myself a headache//

Let em fly!

He did drop crucial passes, but he also caught 7 of them. He was targetted 12 times. Clearly Joe has trust and rapport with the guy. On the Leach flat that was the season's first TD Clark was standing wide open gesticulating to Flacco because it was a gimme. The second shoulda-been TD he beat his coverage and was wide open on a cross route but dropped the ball in the end zoe.

You don't drop a guy just because it's taking him a few hits to shake off the cobb-webs. Especially not a guy with such an impressive proven track record. He joined the team less than a month ago and was Flacco's leading receiver last night.

Relax.

Everyone who was Asking about Brandon Loyd. Im on BOARD!!!!!!! GET THIS DUDE NOW!!!!! Especially if Jacoby knee sprain is going to have him out 2 weeks. Contracts are now non guaranteed so if it didnt work out cutting a player wouldnt hurt. His Talent is worth his lip, think of players like Benard Pollard, Chris McAlister Championship calibur players. Its about Winning, if we start 1-3, 0-4 cause Harbaughs ego bout making this his team and releasing some better players because of lip issues he will be sitting next to Brian Billick in 2 years

So is Jah Reid just worthless now? Not sure if it is because we claim him to now be a back-up guard, but he played RT through his college and I thought we traded up in the 3rd round to get him because he was a "mauler".

So Oher goes down and we insert a rookie?

OK, guys, I am gonna say this a lot. Last night was an embarrassment like last year against the Texans. However, in Coach's philosophy, we win at home and against division opponents as the priority and losing on the road is overhyped in the long run. Each road win is just cream on the top. No need for panic. Ozzie will figure out the tight end situation. I am uncomfortable with way too many dropped balls by TEs. Dickson better be a good blocking tight end or move to defense because he flat out cannot catch a ball. Maybe Clark is truly over the hill. Perhaps we should bring Furstenburg up.

It really doesn't matter how wide open he is if he can't make any important catches... Also, the pre-season was the time to take a few hits and shake off the cobwebs, not an important game in the regular season. Sure he caught a couple other balls (like any other backup TE in the league would) but he dropped any potential TD or 3rd down conversion passes. All of pre-season and the first regular season game is a big enough sample size for me to say CUT HIM!

This kind of knee-jerk criticism from some of these people calling themselves fans is more befitting of a franchise like the Browns, for pete's sake. It's ONE GAME. And we just won the Super Bowl, for crying out loud. Let these coaches and GMs do what they are obviously very very good at doing!

I've been against signing him but I'm on board now. He's a a great route runner and is willing to contort and sacrifice himself for the catch. The risk is worth the benefits.

The difference between that game against texans and this one, is that in texas game the ravens were awful in all aspects O and D, but this game we shoulda won it, Flacco played really well, our Wrs and Te's? Dont think so. A lot of thing to work on and improve O,D and Special teams. Im a huge fan of coach john harbaugh i believe he's the best, i have always believed that, i know the ravens are going to improve and become a better team and go to the superbowl. Just like suggs said "All this game tells us is that we aren't going to go 16-0" .

Guys there's a reason Brandon Lloyd keeps getting cut from teams despite his talent: he's a locker-room cancer. Just drop it. Marlon Brown caught 4 passes for 65 yards and a TD last night, in a game where Torrey Smith couldn't even get open.

Let the coaches and GM do their fricking jobs. You'd think winning a Super Bowl would have silenced you guys but no.

Kinda give the Ravens a slight pass on this game, even though it was embarrassing, new team, unexperienced team. But next week they have to show up and play better, win or lose.

Dude i get your frustration. There's a weeding out process going on in the fan base right now, but this isn't some kind of knee-jerk propostion. Lloyd lasted season-over-season with the Pats because Bellichick and Brady had enough control of their team to keep him check. If Ozzie and Harbs were willing to sign the likes of Rolando McClain because they trusted their control over the locker room and the control of their elder statesmen among the players, what's the big deal about Brandon Lloyd? I'd like to think we've controlled many-a-locker-room-cancer type of guys in our 17 years.

Bottom line is, what value do his talents add to our arsenal? And I think they add credible talent.

OK, we got it handed to us on national TV by a great QB. It was bad, but it's over and only counts as one loss. But we really need to learn from it, recognize our weaknesses, and get cracking on fixing them.

First, we need some TEs. The knock on Dickson was always his hands and it looked just as bad as ever. We cannot rely on him. Clark does not have it anymore. He cannot get separation and unlike he who will not be named, he can't catch in traffic. Joe really likes to use his TE and he doesn't have one.

Second, I feel our WRs are fine. Torrey and Brown pretty much caught everything they could. But it is pretty easy to double them without any other threats. Time to bring Mellette in too. Stokely pretty much disappeared.

We need at least 2 veteran Olinemen as backups. Guys are gonna get injured and tired, but the quality takes a nosedive if any of them go out.

Those 3things are what I said after the 3rd preseason game and I am surprised moves weren't made.

Finally, I thought Cameron was calling the plays again. We totally abandoned the run and showed very little imagination.

The defense just got totally gassed, but again I've gotta give Denver credit for that.

Now on to game 2.

I have to agree with devilsadvocate. Dickson, as much as I've always wanted him to be the guy, just does not make those tough catches, or even semi-tough catches. I'd bring back Shiancoe just to see a guy who is in good shape, and will make that tough catch. Clark has got to catch the TD pass, and Ed Dickson had a hamstring injury, not broken fingers!!Our coaches need to put down some serious terms for these guys, cause last night was embarrassing on almost every front save for Vonta Leach, Marlon Brown, and Rice.
