Jacoby Jones out 4-6 weeks - Who fills in?

281 posts in this topic

Wow. That's just [profanity deleted] perfect. Not only are we screwed at returner until Thompson gets healthy, but we also don't have the talent at WR to pull off the scheme change we need without Jacoby to stretch the field. At this point, I never want to see Trawick's number again.

Injured by his own teammate. That makes the injury much worse.

Need a dynamic returner back there. I don't like to see Pierce or Webb back there. Gotta make some moves. Get to it, Oz!

"team expect to explore WR market?" WHO? There's nobody out there besides Lloyd, who i want no parts of.

If we trade for some bum like Kenny Britt I'm going to be so pissed off.

Thanks Trawick. Great ST play on your part.

I guess, that does mean more Aaron Mellette. For one, I don't want to see our best Corner returning freaking punts and on the other hand, there are no good receivers out there in FA to get.

Well, maybe we can get Randy Moss a call. I heard he is the best receiver of all time. ;)

Perhaps we could pick up Joe McKnight strictly for returns? I am also expecting a trade... I would hate to lose one of our talented players but we need to give Joe guys that he can use and can't keep waving fair catch after every punt/kick.

I actually like Britt, just has been dealing with a lot of injuries and off field stuff. I dont think the Titans would do it though, Locker loves him when healthy.

I will take anyone via trade or free agency that can take some pressure off of Torrey, or at least who can catch better than Clark and Dickson. Not guaranteeing that person is out there, tho.

He's always injured and, with the exception of this off-season when he's pushing for a payday, always in off the field trouble.  We don't want guys like that.

I don't think there's anything available that we would actually want.

Cut Trawick for Leon Washington to replace Jacoby on Kickoffs

Is he still available?  That's actually the best idea I've seen all day.  That gives us our third RB too, unless there's a roster move I missed.

He is, and the J-E-T-S SUCK SUCK SUCK are the front runners.

If we want him that changes easy lol

Any news on Oher?

Oher left the game with a minor ankle sprain, and according to sources, with extra days rest, should be a go for week 2.

Anyone want to help me get Aaron Hernandez out of jail? XD

If he gets off I'll advocate signing him since he'll be cheap.  I don't care what you do off the field if you handle your business on the field, and he certainly got some things done on the field.  It's not like the NFL doesn't love a 'redemption' story.
