For real and its not like this is anything new.We've been undisciplined for a few seasons now.

Of all the things that went wrong tonight, I'm not all that concerned about penalties. I don't think we had that many to be honest. I can think of a few false starts and a couple personal fouls but nothing terrible. We have bigger issues to worry about.

Unsportsmanlike conduct should NEVER happen for a disciplined NFL team.  These penalties where they're acting like punks is inexcusable, it seems like it's always been a problem for this organization, and it's time for it to stop.  Ray Lewis and Ed Reed are gone, the thugs on the field era can stop.  We don't have to be the bad boys of the NFL who'll hurt you  and try to 'thump' you during a loss anymore.  This is a season for the organization to evolve and expand beyond what they were.  It's time to stop going for the big hit and play disciplined fundamental football, because pretty soon that's all the league is going to allow anyway.

I counted 3 Unsportsmanlike penalties, Geno, J. Smith and the hit on the punt returner out of bounds. The 1st two were stupid, the last was too close to be upset about.

I must admit, I am starting to get ticked off with the number of penalties we're incurring. I always think of us as being a well disciplined team but the penalty count doesn't back that thought up. Harbs needs to grab this team by the scruff of the neck and get them to cut down on the dumb mistakes. Heavily penalised teams generally don't win a whole lot.

BAL was 2nd in penalties and 1st in penalty yd last season.  We do not want to see this team turn into the next OAK, so I really hope Harbaugh goes into Drill Instructor Mode and cracks down on all the unsportsmanlike penalties.

The point is, the fouls need to stop.  Unsportsmanlike penalties are the ultimate giveaways.  BAL had 3 of them last night in a game that was close for the 1st 3 quarters.

new pieces and parts on defense trying to gel together, young and undisciplined players and the pressure of getting blown out and embarrassed on national television when you're the ONLY game on to watch...yep!  the penalties will fly!  lol!  they need to fix it!

The Jimmy Smith one was really bad I couldn't believe it when i saw it. But There spirits were broken pretty bad that game i imagine. It was just one game. Its not usually that many unsportsmanlike or usually so many players usually you have the repeat offenders. But if you guys think you could keep it cool every game all the time especially with a game of those circumstances your crazy. There really is no room for it but I'm gonna give them a break on a game like that last night. SB champs away national tv 7 pass tds. Think it was hard on us think about how they felt.
