Week Two - Browns @ Ravens

We placed him on IR with a knee injury.

Not that I want to make more out of it than I should, but that sure does sound suspicious.

Nope cause "The Blind Side" is out with ankle problems so you know what that means?...........Jah Reid or Ricky Wagner will start & thats not good.

Off Topic.....Anybody know what Gino got fined for?

Oher being out is not a given yet. He may still play, hopefully.

Torrey, brown and stokley along with Clark rice and leach will be the only significant pass catchers.

They may be, but I'd like to see Doss and Dickson get some looks - IMO the only way to really evaluate a player is to give them as many chances as possible.  If worse comes to worse and they don't show up, at least we'll know they couldn't make it with us.

Lol, not too long ago fans were bashing Oher and talking about trading him, now we see how valuable he is.

He really is a very average OT, but he is also a heck of a lot better than anything else we have available after watching Wagner get destroyed.

Yeah...Oher will be out for few weeks.   Honestly it probably isn't fair for Wagner to be thrust into a RT position like this.  But we gotta work w/ what we got.  He did a lot better than I thought though.  Lets see how he handles Kruger @ game 2.

I thought Oher practiced today and said he was gonna play?

Why do people keep saying this?  Where is this information coming from that states Oher will be out for a while?  It's not just you, so it must come from somewhere.  Oher said he plans to play.  He was already practicing with the team.

Maybe he'll play but he indicated he wants to be there when it counts @ end of the season. And that was after practice. Maybe Ravens will find a way to limit oher's role for a while.

As well as GM's , coaches, OC's , and DC's this site also has its share of doctors.

He won't. Justin Tucker will tackle him before he can.

huh? When it counts? They all count especially Divisional games. They said his injury is not that serious, and hes already practicing. And limit his role why? I doubt he'll be out a while.

I think the implication was that some games matter more than others in the long run, though you're correct in that divisional games are usually most important.

For example, the loss to Denver is moot if the Ravens win the division outright and advance to the playoffs; 15-1 is just as good as 9-7 when the postseason rolls around, as long as you're in the dance.

Well, almost.  At 15-1 you would most certainly have home field throughout the post season.

Elam needs to start over Huff at least on run downs. Huff's no better than a dime player imo.

Two other 5th rounders are starting( Jordan Mills-Car and David Bakhtiari-GB). They're doing fine jobs. I'm giving no slack to Wagner if he starts. He needs to keep Kruger off of Flacco. RB can help chip before going out on pass pattern.

Ravens win w/o a doubt. Come on man!!

Huff will gain the support of the fans this week. I still have faith.

I actually think our defense will look awesome this week. The Browns are not the Broncos.

True. True. But 9-7 is a lot harder on my heart then 15-1 would be.

just 1 for Dumervil and 1.5 for Suggs? I hope not, I really hope we see this D dominate like it should. How many total sacks you think we'll get? Im say 5...

Bold prediction : jimmy smith pick 6

I talked myself out of it lol. At first I was going to say 2.5 Suggs 1.5 Dumervil.
But I think with Art back in there too, either he or Canty will get one.

I'm also curious where this info comes from because I read on ESPN that ohers injury isn't as bad as it seemed initially and he practiced on Wednesday...... So at this point if he doesn't play Sunday it's probably a coaches decision to rest him for a game.

Anyone have Deonte Thompson injury update??? Haven't seen anything on that. I mean its been a month since that first preseason game nice to know something about him.

Last I saw is that he might be back for the Houston game but my gut feeling says Buffalo.

Joe really has his work cut for him. Of the WRs he had previously developed chemistry with, only Torrey remains. Pitta's down, Jones is down, and Q is gone. Joe Haden will probably try to cover Torrey this week. Hopefully, Marlon and the other receivers will have a good game. Also, it's time for Dickson to come through for the team and for his future with the team.
