the whole secondary stunk. graham, jimmy, huff and the whole crew.

The whole secondary stunk, true. Except for Webb. But to mention Jimmy over Graham I think is a little unfair. Graham and Huff were I think our worst players.

Six former Ravens now on the Browns squad. Two were originally drafted by the Ravens and signed as free agents. Two were claimed from waivers one day after final preseason cuts.

Cousins, Oneil-OL, Drafted 2008 in the third round by Baltimore.
Cundiff, Billy-K, Originally signed by Dallas in 2002.
Tori Guly-WR Signed by Ravens in January 2013 and released in May 2013
Rainey, Bobby-RB Undrafted free agent 2012, waived by Baltimore August 31, 2013, Signed by Cleveland September 1, 2013
Kitchen, Ishmaa’ily-NT, Undrafted free agent 2012, Waived by Baltimore August 31 2012, Signed by Cleveland Sept 1, 2012.
Kruger, Paul-LB Drafted 2009 in the second round by Baltimore.

Based on Clevelands last game, Cousins might be our twelfth man on the field. He was truly awful and getting the same kind of love on the Cleveland fan boards as Dickson/Huff are getting on ours -- I hope he's starting.

If Cousins plays like he did last Sunday you all can have him back as far as I'm concerned.  Players have bad games but good lord his game was dreadful.  Hopefully this will be a good game.  Maybe Cleveland will decide to use that guy named Trent Richardson they have on their team.  It seems logical but hey.. who knows at this point.  I think Weeden can do decent if they can give him a little more time to do something.

The one bright spot at least was the defense; they really played well.  The secondary besides Joe Haden is still a question mark but the front seven looked really sharp.

Here's to an injury free and personally what I hope to be a good game.

Oh and yeah hi to everyone I haven't talked to in months.  =]

I look forward to this game.  We're pissed after what happened last week and I expect we will come out of the tunnel at home fired up and ready to take the Browns down.  If Joe and Caldwell can keep the plays mixed up enough to throw off some of our former players, this should make it easier, though I know with the Ravens, nothing is ever easy!

How ya been dude???

And no way in h-e-double toothpicks would we take Cousins back.  We put the game on last Sunday (at friend's house with Sunday ticket), and I told my buddy that the explanation for the Browns' offensive troubles were right there.  They were showing Cousins after a penalty, or giving up a sack, can't remember which.

We can definitely all agree on that....an injury free, good game!!

Oh not too bad really.  Moved out to the west coast for work as you can see by my new location; living in Vancouver, WA but actually working in Portland, OR.  It's beautiful country out here except for all of the Seahawks fans.  =]  How are things in your neck of the woods?

We didn't get a ton of injuries on the pre-season but the two big ones were involving our RT and RG and yeah; it reared its ugly head in Week 1.  Again, Cousins can possibly step it up and we'll see but yikes I hope there isn't another repeat of last week on Sunday from his area.  He gave up 2 sacks and had 4 penalties.

Nope, had not noticed the location change.  A Browns fan amongst Seahawks fans?  Sounds interesting.   LOL

Can't be too many of ya out there, I'd imagine.  Same old, same old here on the east coast.

I'm guessing Cousins will play better this week.  The "chip on the shoulder" deal.

We'll definitely be watching him!    :P

Should be "interesting" watching him trying to block Ngata.   :)

I thought Ngata was sitting out this game due to personal reasons?

(Reasons = playing Madden 25 and eating a lot of pizza)

I want to see 5 active wide receivers with each one getting a lot of looks.  Torrey and Marlon should be starting, but Stoke, Doss, and Mallette deserve as much playing time as possible - a huge reason why I feel Doss hasn't progressed is that he just never saw the field in the last 2 seasons here.  It's time for that kind of rationale to stop - we won the Superbowl last year in large part because of new young players i.e. Jacoby (not really young, but playing a bigger role than he ever had before), Pitta, Kruger and Ellerbe down the stretch, etc, stepping up.  The more experience our guys get, especially against an offensively challenged opponent like the Browns where we should be able to take more chances and not pay for them, the better off I believe they will be for a playoff push.

Any news why Mallette was not practicing today?

Maybe he's upset because he felt he outplayed Doss in the preseason and now Doss is back on the 53 man roster. But Doss is a different type of receiver, the type the Ravens are missing for middle of the field catches. Mellette is more fluid but less physical.

In a bit of good injury news, Michael Oher was a full participant in practice today and Art Jones returned on a limited basis.

Oher, especially, because that knee looked nasty. Art's back after his viral scare, thankfully.

Very good news. Could see both of them on Sunday.

I miss Boldin too Sami. Much more that I'll miss Ozzie or Harbs.

As far as the run game, we have to ground and pound. Its time to feature the run and give the young receivers a chance to break open when its not expected.

Back to our Roots!!!!

Completely irrelevant

Torrey, brown and stokley along with Clark rice and leach will be the only significant pass catchers.

Correct, except I bet we give Dickson at least one more chance. Probably several.

Doss was probably brought in to cover KR and PR duties. He may get some receiving time but I wouldn't think much. He was cut for a reason after all.

Okay, now that we've established that Boldin has nothing to do with this topic we can move past him.

Ray Rice is due for a good game after being quite since the Denver playoff game. He likes to beat up on the Browns - he scored his first career TD against them (some trivia). I'm excited to see the SB banner put up.

Nope cause "The Blind Side" is out with ankle problems so you know what that means?...........Jah Reid or Ricky Wagner will start & thats not good.

Off Topic.....Anybody know what Gino got fined for?

It's clear every single thread is about Boldin. They all are. They are also all about Ed Reed, Pollard and Cary Williams too. Each and every single one of these threads. They have to be.

Four Days...stuck on our eyes.

Oher should play this week.  He was back at practice today.

And apparently Gino is getting fined for piling on.  He says he thought there was a fumble.

I kind of fear the Brownies pass rush if Wagner is in there and not Oher. Oh well, some good experience for the rook!

It appears "Iron-man" Michael Oher will play, so you shouldn't have to worry about that scenario.
