Week Two - Browns @ Ravens

Boldin is a playmaker here and at SF, HE ALWAYS pulls the team out of hole, always rescuing the offense when its seem like it will punt, he was making critical plays, and I'm not even gonna mention his blocking, he decleated packer SS So bad that he should get arrested.

boldin will play for us again. just not this year. he will always consider himself a raven over a cardinal or 49 er. thats why he was wering his purple raven shoulder pads vs green bay.

What does this have to do with Boldin?

I'm fed up with Boldin's propaganda lately although I am really disappointed with Boldin's trade.....

Bold prediction:  We have a receiver who has a bigger game this week than Boldin does.

That was just a transition from the off topic commentary back to the topic at hand.  I don't think we will blow out the Browns early, but I also don't think the victory will ever be in serious doubt.  I say we end up winning by 11-15 points.  Our defense will step up in a big way, and so will Ray Rice.  Flacco doesn't get asked to do nearly as much, and he has a solid, efficient game with no turnovers.

Does Boldin play for the Browns?......

Boldin has brown shoes....

That is the connection.

And the shoes were just as good now that he is a 9er as they were when he was a Raven.

and Ozzie said he should not get those brown shoes...

What does Ozzie know ?

I miss Boldin too Sami. Much more that I'll miss Ozzie or Harbs.

As far as the run game, we have to ground and pound. Its time to feature the run and give the young receivers a chance to break open when its not expected.

Back to our Roots!!!!

Oh dear Lord you have got to be trolling. Newsflash! We were competitive before Boldin got here! Boldin is not the second coming.

Missing Boldin more than Ozzie and Harbs? I miss him too, but that's just asinine.

If nothing else, you are relentless. There's a pool for how long you will last. Think you'll still be here when the Ravens are in the playoffs?

Sami....

I feel your pain. Why don't you do something truly befitting the status of Anquan Boldin. (There's no way we win that Championship without him.)

Start a new post in homage to Quan. Maybe a "Shrine Thread" of sorts. And those that appreciated Quan's value and who love and miss him can contribute to the Shrine with their own personal anecdotes.

I want to see Ray Rice run 25 times vs the Browns and Pierce to go for a minimum of 18 runs.............Lets impose our will traditional football style. (It may be our only hope....we have to run clock.)

thats what exactly the ravens need. i want them to play pissed off. the loss to denver sucks, but the loss just fired up a potiental top 3 defense at home. the ravens are going to come out with a fire lit up under there butt. i have said it over and over this week has baltimore called that challenge against the welker drop pass it would have been a different game. up to that point the ravens were playing fine.

Okay, now that we've established that Boldin has nothing to do with this topic we can move past him.

Ray Rice is due for a good game after being quite since the Denver playoff game. He likes to beat up on the Browns - he scored his first career TD against them (some trivia). I'm excited to see the SB banner put up.

Six former Ravens now on the Browns squad. Two were originally drafted by the Ravens and signed as free agents. Two were claimed from waivers one day after final preseason cuts.

Cundiff, Billy-K, Originally signed by Dallas in 2002.
Tori Guly-WR Signed by Ravens in January 2013 and released in May 2013
Rainey, Bobby-RB Undrafted free agent 2012, waived by Baltimore August 31, 2013, Signed by Cleveland September 1, 2013
Kitchen, Ishmaa’ily-NT, Undrafted free agent 2012, Waived by Baltimore August 31 2012, Signed by Cleveland Sept 1, 2012.

It sounds strange because it's so early, but this game will say a lot about the Ravens imo. Do we come out as a top AFC team and take it do the Browns. Or do we come out as a team who are really just trying to find themselves right now? I strongly feel it's the former.

If plays were made on those drops balls in Denver that game would have been so much different. They played well, but the Ravens gave up a lot. Execution was the biggest problem last week, if this team is who I believe they are, they'll execute well and prove that no matter how much talent the Browns have added, the Ravens are still superior.

The Browns are always a tough game for us, but our last two home openers have been blowout wins against AFC North opponents and I think that continues with the Browns.

No lie.  If certain player that played like complete donkeys tonight does the same thing @ browns game next week.  They have no future in NFL.

Im looking @ jimmy smith, trawick right now.

and stokley, dickson, huff needs to be shoved off and bring in mellette, matt & elam

I'm looking at Jimmy allow two receptions and force a fumble.

I'm looking at Corey Graham allow seven receptions and three touchdowns, two to Welker and one to Demaryius Thomas.

You just hate him. I've seen nothing but hate for Jimmy coming from you.

PFF credited him with two receptions allowed, buddy.
What do I trust more? An analysis done by a website that watches every player's snaps or your analysis of a video where you can't even see everything that is happening?
Just because Jimmy tackles a player doesn't mean it was his man. Good call with the video.
