Week Two - Browns @ Ravens

We notoriously bounce back after bad losses like that.

2012: After losing 17-34 to Broncos, we beat Giants 33-14.

2011: After losing 13-26 to Titans, we beat Rams 37-7.

We'll do it again. Sorry Browns.

The Ravens have a lot of holes......and the Browns have a team to exploit them.

It's gonna be an interesting game.

If the Browns win, you'll have to admit the changes were unwise.

We have to make those changes or we're in deep cap hell..ask those Steelers for the experiences...

It's the Browns. We'll be fine. If it was the Patriots, I'd be hesitant at this point. But the Browns, at home, we'll be just fine.

No lie.  If certain player that played like complete donkeys tonight does the same thing @ browns game next week.  They have no future in NFL.

Im looking @ jimmy smith, trawick right now.

and stokley, dickson, huff needs to be shoved off and bring in mellette, matt & elam

We barely beat the Browns at home last year.
They are improving, to be fair. They annihilated PIT.

BAL took a big step back in the conference standings, but with a rebound win against CLE, they can get their division series off on the right tarck.

I'll be in Pittsburgh for this game.. Any advice? To wear my jersey or not?
How averse are you to fighting/vitriolic verbal abuse?

Love it. Always share a great laugh with rival fans, but tried never with Steelers. Always tried to stay away from confrontation at bars, but then I like to talk trash and have a bit fun. Still, I have never met a gentle, non-ignorant black and yellow fan.

It's not too soon is it? I think we all want to forget what we just witnessed.

Ahhh It really is refreshing to think about. Its like going from pro bowl to little league. But if for some reason we lose, all hell will break loose.

We also were notoriously dominate on opening days but that turned out pretty damn bad lol. I think if we have anything to fall on from our history its that we are at home we have really passionate fans and seven nation army will be rockin!!!!

We'll be extremely motivated next week, shouldn't be an issue. I am eager to see this new Browns D though......

LOL. When all goes wrong blame Jimmy Smith right? The guy played solid in coverage all night outside of the TD and personal foul. Graham got torched multiple times, The hands of the once sure handed Clark were non existent. He made me sick more than anyone. Huff looked lost, and once Oher went down, Ricky Wagner(poor guy) got exposed and Joe had no time to even blink. I won't even mention Dickson because his performance isn't even worth the space this post is taking up. The guys will hopefully rebound next week. It's a long season, just stop making Jimmy the scapegoat.

We can't afford to have the typical week 2 look past a weak opponent game this year.

I doubt that will happen. In previous years it always occurred after a win which is obviously not the case this year.

The Browns will probably be the Ravens whipping boys

I really hope the Ravens get their act together. We need need need to get back to the playoffs. After watching Peyton shred my beloved Ravens, seeing Flacco crush Mannings SB dreams twice in a row would easily be the best thing EVER. I can picture, that frown on Peyton fat giant head and it looks glorious.

Yeah but we "used to" notoriously win our season opener too.

Seems to be the scapegoat. It's ridiculous that people love to throw him under the bus for everything. He didn't play awesome but he played well. Corey Graham looked stupid out there.

Yep. Graham and Huff derailed the entire secondary.
