Official melt, cut, comment on Ravens at Broncos

Denver's refusal of playing any defense against him.

I've been hard on Clark, but the options we have are slim. We can only hope he shores up his hands.

Yeah don't get me wrong. I don't think he played well at all, but I don't think he played anywhere near as poorly as some are suggesting.

I'm thinking we should just cut everyone and start fresh.  What's the point after that loss?!?!  There is no hope we'll never win a SB.

Tebow is looking for work.  Lloyd, Michael Turner.

This is a pissed off thread so vent, sleep and get ready for some Brownies...

A loss is a loss. That's what it comes down to. 15 more games to go. I hope the Ravens learn from it, and makes us better.

Pretty sure Clark intentionally threw this game and he should honestly be executed for some of those plays. Hope Ozzie cuts him. Doesn't deserve to have a job playing football.

Ozzie YOU NEED TO BRING IN A RECEIVER THAT CAN CATCH!

Flacco played well enough.  The first pick was an amazing play by the defender.  A lot of wide receivers and tight ends don't catch that on the dive (at least a lot of OUR receivers and tight ends, it would seem).  He made a play on the ball and it was a very difficult catch.  Give Chris Harris credit.  The second INT was a bad decision, but it wasn't a problem for me.  He isn't as careful when the game is either out of hand or he is trying to do too much to overcome a crappy day from the whole team around him.  And that's fine.

Flacco threw the ball SIXTY TWO TIMES.  There have only been 17 performances with more pass attempts since 1960.

The run game was terrible, the offensive line was terrible after Oher went down... it was just an awful day from everyone.  Flacco threw the ball accurately the majority of the time, and I'd estimate that well over half of his incompletions were either coverage incompletions that the receiver just didn't get enough separation on, or dropped balls.

I think a lot of people are overlooking on Stokley that he was forced to play every down basically once Jacoby went down. He wasn't brought in to do that. I completely understand if he got tired. We literally just had no other options.

I would rather see a rookie like Furstenburg play Then Clark or Dickson . That was the worst tight end play I've ever seen from our tight ends in the history of the franchise .

He got open enough to be targeted 12 times. I can't overlook that.

The dude caught the ball in practice with bare hand which was impressive but in game when counted, he dropped balls like Manning bribed him for those drops.....He's old and washed up..

We need to try other rookie TEs...

Dickson is Dickson....ball dropper

I thought we had a chance to win this game. The first half proved me right. But with so many new players I fully expected a bit of a feeling out period. We will get better as the season goes.

Go ahead and let the Broncos  be regular season champions.

I think I'm going to step away from the boards. Some of you are way too emotional right now and not thinking rationally.

Give the rookies more playing time. Get Juice in the game and suit up Mellette. Stokley ran out of steam and the offense was not on the field enough to justify how slow he was. If they still would allow stickum then Clark might have made a few more catches. I saw more dropped passes tonight than I can ever remember in one game. Only good thing I saw tonight was that most of the time our defense was on the same page. It was just very glaring when they were not. Payton being Payton took advantage of every one of them. - Feel better, got to vent.

Hopefully deonte is back soon. Stokely gets no separation What so ever. Get Clark tf out of here, and get Bynes out the game he looks clueless. Start brown next to smith at ilb and start Matt Elam. Ihedigbo looked as bad as huff. Dickson and Clark need some deer antler spray on their hands. On a bright note Marlon brown looked good for his first game

I don't know who was worse, Huff or Pees. Reed may not have been able to tackle for crap and Lewis couldn't run anymore, but you never saw that kind of garbage with them around. The communication in the secondary alone was worth bringing Reed back. Huff was soft and crap in coverage.

Good game Ravens. We woke up finally in the third, but your team has some positives for sure. I'm not sure Clark or Dickson is your answer at TE, but other than that I think you guys will be ok. It was a hard fought game that first half then it just got away. Hostile crowd and my boys just desided to wake up. Still can't believe Travathan had a brain fart on that pick 6. Anyway, good game guys, doesn't heal the playoff loss but I'm betting we will see each other again in Jan. Go Broncos! Elvis has left the building!

They gambled deactivating Mellette that's for sure. I believe they only had 7 active OL too.

Also Bynes played waaaay too many snaps, Brown should have started and played the majority of the game. Bynes isn't much of a veteran anyway so it's not like he was going to know Mannings tricks.

Can't get over how poor Pees was tonight. Just brutal.

Still ridiculous lol. I remember last year when everyone wanted Tyrod in after Joe had a bad game. They look stupid now, don't they? I know we aren't talking about someone of that caliber, but people need to take a step back and think before they type.

Couldn't agree more. Except I'd say 90% of his incompletions were at least catchable. Peyton's receivers made plays. Joe's receivers (except Torrey and Marlon) didn't. But if this is one of Flacco's worse games of the year, the Ravens are still going to win a lot of games.

Im not panicking,Its the first game, with our new additions, against a very good team in their house with the altitude. If we were gonna get smacked in a game, this would be it.I team needs time to gel but there is one glaring issue. We all love Ozzie but I've never been a fan of neglecting our recieving and te core.I love Marlon Brown but how you could try to replace Pitta and Boldin with Clark and Stokley and think you'll be fine is beyond me.This has to be fixed or were gonna be finished real early.

Clark and Stokley!I was against them from the first day of signing. With the addition of both, it only delays the development of younger players like Matt Furstenburg.

At this point Stokley is better than Clark but also older. A part of the argument against Boldin was in reference to his age and not getting separation yet they bring in (two older players) a 34 year old and a 37 year old. Don't panic though there is still time to fix it.

The OL got handled!

I sort of don't understand this. I live and die by the Ravens like most of us but I felt like we were playing with house money in this game. So we lost. It doesn't take away the playoff win last year and I generally prefer a blowout to losing by a point. It still only counts as one loss. Plus it was a road game. It would sting even more if the game was at M&T and we lost like this.
